Best part is he knows it. Already took the YouTube vids down. Doesn't matter since they weren't important to the case and just helped find him. The internet made it easy to steal, and even easier to get caught if someone decides to look. IP address is the modern day fingerprint, and you don't need a kit or database to use it.

In progress. This just started a few days ago. They want to try and get some restitution before they go in for the kill. Trying to get a list of the folks he scammed.

Someone hinted they may have found a connection to scams outside the knife community as well, so poop might get deep.

I think it's down...but his youtube vid was comedy. Was going over his "duty belt" I knew he was full of crap and not LE instantly from his explanation of his different styles of handcuffs to his sig 2022 with mecgear mags. And how his dept. Was "fckn stupid" about some things

I've delt with some real professional security companies and real shitty ones. Up here you could tell the professional ones they had guns, in Milwaukee they would watch my work van even escort me while working at night in the hood. There's one in a mall I service in Madison, they're a joke there's a large African American Women there who has a huge power ego, more like the sounds of this guy. Hope they end up catching him!!

Lol, nothing as far as I know. I've just never heard of them being issued to LE, and people are usually issued factory mags. could be wrong of course! Was just the first thought I had.

Just busting your chops. The Mec-Gar +2 mags for the SP2022 suck donkey balls. Doesn't fit correctly and pinches pinkys, and most importantly, look like ass. Well it could have been standard issue if he was working for the police... er the French Police, or the US Army TACOM.

The thing to do is modify Ruger P95 30-rounders and then you have one of the most reliable 30-round handguns around.

(on a side note, there's a full FDE SP2022 in the LGS marked at $460 and it was definitely calling my name).

SP 2022's rock. Everything good about Sig's but a lot lighter. Despite it's bulk, one of my favorite CC's. Lighter than a Colt Officer Model. Designed to last 20,000 rounds. Wish they came in 45 acp. But 357 Sig is ok except for the ammo price and limited availability. That' s why I have a 40 S and W barrel for it as well.

If memory serves me right, the SP2022 was the new version of the Sig Pro. It was designed as an affordable alternative to the more expensive P226, to be competitive with Glock. They focused at low budget agencies and security companies.

I'm a huge sig fan. I own a P220 Carry Elite Stainless, which I use on duty every day.

THIS!

It's a great gun that few know about. Most end up buying the P250 (with the sucky DAO trigger pull) and completely miss the SP2022. My 2022 is a 9mm - cheap ammo, and easy to find when SHTF, reliable, accurate and tough. Great DA/SA trigger, great price. Can't ask for anything more in a Sig. Perfect for a beater handgun.

Great night sights as well. And with a nitron finished stainless slide and the polycarbonate frame, will still be around after I am long gone.
