PhotonSD
Well it is time for me to confess to being ripped off by these guys. www.nwprecision.org. They took my order, and my money for two .308 uppers back in November of last year. Multiple emails always got the same response, " Item on backorder". When I got fed up in the early part of July I asked for a delivery date or a refund. Tried again weeks later, no refund, no parts, no answer at all. I got ripped off I just want to warn everyone here to avoid these guys. If I am breaking any rules or if this is posted in the wrong spot I hope a moderator will move or remove it. Just tired and angry at having been conned.

98Z5V
I'd keep working on them, instead of giving up on your money - they apparently got too big too fast, and didn't anticipate that. This is from their contact page: "At Northwest Custom Precision, our attentive staff is available Monday through Saturday to answer all of your questions and ensure you are 100% satisfied. Our address is : North West Custom Precision 790 30th St Bldg H Suite 3 Springfield, OR 97478 To contact us please email us at northwestprecision@outlook.com We are no longer able to take phone calls at this time. Answering the phone and returning messages has become a fulltime job and we can not afford to take time away from production in order to keep up with the demand of the phones. We already receive hundreds of emails daily, we will do our best to respond to your emails within 48hrs. Please be patient, we have become much busier than we ever anticipated. Customer satisfaction is still our top priority and we are working on adding staff to handle the work load that is coming in. Thanks again for your support Team NW Precision." planeflyer21
Sorry to hear you're going through this. A lesson to be learned by those starting up manufacturing (coffcoffShibicoff). Don't take any new orders until your production can handle it.
FaRKle!
Can you still do a CC chargeback?
Sisco
Man, I came very close to ordering a couple of uppers from them a while back. I am glad I didn't. Thanks for the heads up. Suspicious if they won't answer the phone.
EasyEJL
Can you still do a CC chargeback?usually its only within 90-120 days that you can. but sometimes, particularly American Express if he happened to use that will be more flexible. MaDuce
I waited 2 years for my Addax ZK. I'm glad I did. Then again, they never stopped communicating with me. Every mm of that thing was built to perfection and I had little chance of getting another HQ AR15. And that model has been discontinued after a very short production life, so now it's a collectors item. Unfortunately, it seams that quality AR15s and parts often come with a waiting list. Believe it or not, the really long waits can be caused chiefly by quality control issues as was the case with Addax. Getting people to make parts for these guns correctly can apparently be quite difficult and time consuming as you don't know they've messed up until the order is complete which can take months to fulfill. I have never heard of this company before, so I have no idea what to do about the situation. Edited July 22, 2014 by MaDuce
PhotonSD
Thanks for the positive thoughts. In answer to what payment method I used Discover. I have had limited dealings with Discover, haven't contacted them yet as I think more than half a year is stretching things. I will however and see what happens. Didn't know about that F rating. Well, not going to cry over spilt uppers. I am glad that this has stopped Sisco from investing with them. Hopefully no one else will either. j.peace
I had a problem with another manufacturer. It was supposed to ship in three days. Two months later after countless emails . phone calls and them blaming it on anodizing. I demanded a refund . and they did. Lucky me. I would contact NCP first. Then credit card company. If stll no luck . their local prosecuting attorney.
blue109
I waited forever for some shadow ops stuff. they said it was gonna be a while from the start, so I ordered and forgot about it. was happy when I unexpectedly got a tracking number. if I need something, I only order it if it's in stock ready to ship. been shopping online long enough to know not to trust a backorder estimate. shepp
Had a guy on the FB page bashing shadow ops he had waited a whole 4 weeks I wanted to tell him he was a female cat and he better find a new hobby but I was nice. Asked him if he realized that a lot of these shops are way smaller than you think the guy running the machines is normally the one answering the phone shipping and rec. he wasn't having none of that so I then asked him if he had ever ordered anything in the fire arm industry before and it's not uncommon to wait months/a year for items but he was still bitching so I said good day........ PhotonSD
I contacted Discover and they are investigating. They have also given me a temporary credit. I have decided to chalk this one up to "Lessons Learned" and carry on. Now waiting on DPMS uppers.
