Microgunner Posted August 10, 2014 Report Posted August 10, 2014 I purchased a Hi-Point .45 carbine. Oh the shame. It's not for me, it's for my brother in law. Every time I saw him he'd mention it. I tried to convince him there are better choices but his cousin has one and he got to shoot it. He apparently loved it. I just threw up in my mouth a little. Anyway, a nice one (?) came out of pawn and I bought it for him. He doesn't know it yet. It's sitting on the piano, I don't even want it near my firearms.
planeflyer21 Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 Well Micro, I'm sure your "brother-in-law" will be happy with the Hi-Point "he" wanted! What kind of ammo did you get?
survivalshop Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 What no photo's , how do we know if its a real one <dontknow>
StainTrain Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 You must really like your brother-in-law to compromise yourself in this manner.
Matt.Cross Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 Microgunner just came out of the closet on us.... You're sick Micro, you need help!
DNP Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 I'm sure your ""brother in law"" will love it. I hope ""he"" goes to the range with you often, and let's you enjoy it some too...
98Z5V Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 I love the grief-giving in this thread. It's the perfect amount, at just the right time... <lmao>
Microgunner Posted August 11, 2014 Author Report Posted August 11, 2014 That's right, kick a brother when he's down. I put my hard earned money down for a Hi-Point. Now my stomach's churning again. BIL had better appreciate my suffering. This "thing" even came with a tinker toy POS red dot factory mounted. I've heard that if you wrap a twenty dollar bill tightly around a Hi-Point and then throw it off a bridge you can then truthfully tell people you lost something.
Microgunner Posted August 11, 2014 Author Report Posted August 11, 2014 Oh shiit, I got a warning point. Who's poodle did I screw or is this Hi-Point reprisal?
98Z5V Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 Oh shiit, I got a warning point. Who's poodle did I screw or is this Hi-Point reprisal? <lmao> I would suspect Matt, for that. What's your warning say?... <laughs>
Matt.Cross Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 I've heard that if you wrap a twenty dollar bill tightly around a Hi-Point and then throw it off a bridge you can then truthfully tell people you lost something. Well, that's actually true, but only because your mind is what is lost when you put your cash and a Hi-Point in the same place.... This is harder to believe than a 1000yd shot with a 9mm handgun, I'm in shock!
blue109 Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 this hi point kicks your snotty 1911s butt all over the range. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=KjQk244oW9c
DNP Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 I put my hard earned money down for a Hi-Point. The good news is...it shouldn't have been MUCH of your hard earned money. Might have to skip the Starbucks for a week or two.
washguy Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 No snarky remarks here...hell ive never heard of a high point :) Wash
washguy Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 ^^^ He said "Snarky..." <lmao> Just for you :) Wash

Robocop1051 Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 <lmao> I would suspect Matt, for that. What's your warning say?... <laughs> Warning issued by Robocop1051 for Other in Profile. Given 1 points. "this will teach you for buying a hi-point. Don't let it happen again."
98Z5V Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 Oh SNAP!!! The warning was issued at the whim of the Heavy-Handed Cop! Again! <lmao>
Robocop1051 Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 Zero tolerance will be practiced here
Microgunner Posted August 11, 2014 Author Report Posted August 11, 2014 Yeah, it wasn't much, only $200. It looks like it'd make a hell of a sheleighly when it stops running 2 or 3 shots into the magazine. It's pretty damned ghetto.
StainTrain Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 200 bucks????? That's 197 bucks too much.
