shibiwan Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 OMG... <lmao> <laughs> .....and this is after hearing a CCW instructor recommended a Hi-Point .38 to his class..... Take him to the range with a few Sigs and things will change.
Microgunner Posted August 11, 2014 Author Report Posted August 11, 2014 OMG... <lmao> <laughs> .....and this is after hearing a CCW instructor recommended a Hi-Point .38 to his class..... Take him to the range with a few Sigs and things will change. I gave him a Beretta Nano for CC and he gets to shoot anything else I own but he wanted a Hi-Point carbine. It's a hellava lot cheaper than the Beretta CX4 carbine I offered to buy him.
imschur Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 I was going to warn him until I saw Robo did. I love an abuse of power put to good use LMAO
Matt.Cross Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 <lmao> I would suspect Matt, for that. What's your warning say?... <laughs> Oh yeah, blame Mr.Nice Guy..... FYI I have never disregarded your use of the safe word! LOL...
survivalshop Posted August 12, 2014 Report Posted August 12, 2014 What I want to know is ,Why only one warning point ? Surely this infraction ,to insult most other firearms we discuss here , is worth at least two. <laughs>

Microgunner Posted August 12, 2014 Author Report Posted August 12, 2014 I took the Hi-Point to range today and... Naw, just kidding. It still sitting in it's cardboard box feeling ugly and unloved.
DNP Posted August 12, 2014 Report Posted August 12, 2014 Lmao. Took it to the range and laid down some one ragged hole targets at 800m. I think with a little work on the reloads we can push her out to 1000m
Magwa Posted August 12, 2014 Report Posted August 12, 2014 I had one for the wife and she put 5 000 rounds through that planet of the apes looking gun and it never had a hicup... hard to beat for a throw it in your boat gun or under the seat gun.... you guys hate to much yeah it is cheap but it is not light..... :)

I think with a little work on the reloads we can push her out to 1000m Oh yeah! I'm sure with all that extra material on it, it will handle .460 Rowland just fine!

Microgunner Posted August 13, 2014 Author Report Posted August 13, 2014 Everyone hating on that fine hand crafted carbine. Did you know that no two are alike? And every once in awhile one even works.

lmao_37 Posted August 21, 2014 Report Posted August 21, 2014 Microgunner I feel your shame bud. I thought getting thrown off a forum for modifying a mosin nagent was bad but I just want to say thank you as atleast I didnt buy a hi point.
Toolndie7 Posted August 21, 2014 Report Posted August 21, 2014 I thought getting thrown off a forum for modifying a mosin nagent Thats funny I was just talking to a guy at the range that was doing just that.
Robocop1051 Posted August 21, 2014 Report Posted August 21, 2014 I have an old buddy who bought his Mosin at Big5 for $99. Then he ordered about $400 in parts to make it into a modern hunting rifle. When it was done I pointed out he could've bought a really nice Rem or Ruger for the same price.
blue109 Posted August 21, 2014 Report Posted August 21, 2014 lol, I bought a few MNs when they were $60 at big 5. have a numbers matching 91 locked up in cosmoline, gave a 91 to father in law as a bday gift, and chopped up a 44 into a scout rifle. most expensive part is the Burris pistol scope I got on Ebay for $100. suppose I could put it back to stock, but I gave away the takeoff parts to a guy doing a resto on an old one.

Robocop1051 Posted August 21, 2014 Report Posted August 21, 2014 dupe. admin...we really need a delete post option in hurr. No way! Then we can't see your slap-dick mistakes and tease you about them.
EasyEJL Posted August 21, 2014 Report Posted August 21, 2014 I keep thinking about a mosin, i'm sure by the time I finally am ready to buy one they'll be stupid expensive
EasyEJL Posted August 21, 2014 Report Posted August 21, 2014 I've got a PSL coming, that was my compromise :D
blue109 Posted August 21, 2014 Report Posted August 21, 2014 I can remember when I was middleschoolish age, my dream guns were druganov tiger and a AUG. I was the only kid I knew with gun posters outnumbering car posters.
