Take him to the range with a few Sigs and things will change. I gave him a Beretta Nano for CC and he gets to shoot anything else I own but he wanted a Hi-Point carbine. Then he ordered about $400 in parts to make it into a modern hunting rifle. When it was done I pointed out he could've bought a really nice Rem or Ruger for the same price.
