I saw an ammo dealer at a gun show who priced 500rd 22LR at $289. I made sure to make note of the name so I would not buy anything from them ever. Making a profit is one thing, what CTD did was bad. They canceled existing orders of mags instead of putting them on backorder saying they were unavailable. When they relisted them a short while later, they were much higher. They did not honor their existing contracts at the price they had agreed upon at the time. They chose to go for the profit at the expense of the people who made them what they were. Sorry to @carverelli for derailing your thread with this.

Thanks, I will move it forward. I had noticed that it was too far back when looking through it. I still have to lube it before I shoot it. It will make the trip to the Fall Shoot for sure.

I can't say if the price is good, but I ordered a BCG from them for a prior build and had no issues with Arm or Ally.

I hope I can shoot it half as well as it should shoot.

That was solely directed at Crappier Than Dirt. They were one of the more prominent companies to screw people over after the Sandy Hook shooting.

I have one of their barrels in 223 Wylde. It shoots great. I can't specifically speak to the 308 though. Someone with experience should be along shortly.

Don't be too concerned about the gremlins. There are plenty of people who can talk you through fixes if they are needed. You are doing what you should by reading build threads. Most of the ones that have problems did not read before they bought parts and ended up getting things that were not compatible.
