  1. Welcome to the forum. When you are reading, make sure to look for PA10 specific information. There are several different 308AR formats and they are not all interchangeable.
  2. Congratulations on the purchase. Stick with Primary Arms for your optics. They make some great scopes. Then your kids could have some ramen before the weekend is over.
  3. He does as long as he doesn't see what we say about him. Luv you Mikey! ?
  4. I'll never go full MikedaddyH
  5. Just for the open forum. I don't want to go @MikedaddyH on everyone.
  6. I agree with the tacops charging handle. It's hard to beat.
  7. Welcome to the forum. Glad you found some answers to your problems. PSA, as well as many others, like to make things proprietary with their 308AR builds. It would be nice to have some standards, but then we would be just another gun forum.
  8. Sorry to hear about this Rob.
  9. I was trying to stay R-rated at most.
  10. You didn't try to reprogram it? It looks like you could do a better job than the Chinese.
  11. It's even peeing.
  12. I'll let y'all find it on your own.
  13. Welcome to the forum from Texas and thank you for your service.
  14. Most of us have fat fingers as well. But a measurement of your actual receiver extension is needed. Some manufacturers, even well known ones, think that getting close is good enough.
  15. That cancer is spread through the school system. That is why they fight so hard to get kids in there early and would like to do away with home schooling first and then likely private schools. There is not enough control for their liking.
  16. At the very least, he will need a few dozen cactus spines pulled out.?
  17. I also believe that a 16-18 inch barrel is the most you will need in your situation. I have a stock Rock River LAR8 (308) with a 16 inch barrel. It has nothing special but their match trigger (not that special). I was routinely hitting steel at 650 yards with it last fall. I can hit 300 yards while standing without using a rest most of the time. I purchased a 7.62X39 AR kit from Moriarti a couple of years ago. I had no issues with them at the time. My ability to recognize and desire to buy better parts points me in different directions now.
  18. What are the details of the gun? Parts list, if assembled (which it sounds like) or was it a complete gun? Welcome to the forum.
  19. My brother sent me this one.
  20. Dirk, do NOT look at this post! 168gr FGMM is on sale for $16.99 today at PSA. https://palmettostatearmory.com/federal-308-168gr-sierra-matchking-bthp-gold-medal-ammunition-20rds-gm308m.html
  21. I am just starting to watch this video series. I hope it will be a good resource.
  22. Ill save you enough to buy some ammo. https://www.armorally.com/shop/vg6-cage-muzzle-device-combo/ I know 98Z5V has that combo on his 6.5 Grendel. I shot it in the fall and it shoots great. I have that combo in the mail for my Grendel build.
  23. Matt and 98Z5V gave a detailed course on long distance shooting, including range estimation and reading wind, using only your optics to tell you how to adjust your shot. This was at the Fall Shoot in AZ. There were no flags posted in the desert to tell us which way the wind was blowing. The biggest thing you have to know is how your scope works. @Matt.Cross, I did order the PA 4-14 with MOA reticle.
  24. I am running the Larue MBT with the heavy spring and I have had no problems.
