Welcome to the forum from Texas. Unless I am unaware of a variation in your rifle, all standard ARs should have a bolt catch to hold it open after the last round. Other, more capable people will be along shortly to help you out. In the meantime, can you manually lock the bolt back?

I had a PFI RR 600-2 on my LAR-8 in the beginning. I used it until I was given a different scope. I then let my sister-in-law use it on her 308. I only had it for a couple of times shooting and don't remember that it was bad. But I really don't have much of an opinion that I recall. (Wow, I sounded like a Clinton with that answer. ) My sister-in-law is still using it and can shoot effectively with it.

I got my vest delivered the other day and can say that it weighs less than a pair of jeans would if you were in the water. It is incredibly light relative to what I would have expected. I will say to take my opinions with reservation since I am neither ex-military nor ex-LEO so I have no prior experience with body armor. I will say that customer service was excellent and delivery was exactly when expected.
