  1. I would say that you will likely need to drill your gas port up a bit. The difference in size recommendations depends, first, on the barrel length and gas length and, second, the diameter of your barrel at the gas port. A bull barrel needs a different gas port size than a pencil barrel. If you list the diameter of your gas block, @98Z5V can calculate what size gas port you should need.
  2. Welcome to the forum. The information is free. If anything seems confusing or contradictory, ask questions to clarify.
  3. Mike, I am sorry for your loss. He was a great man whose legacy will live on in you and the others whom he guided to be great men and women in their own lives. May he rest in peace now that his fight is over. Heaven has gained a new warrior. The struggle continues only for those left behind, but he prepared you well for the fight. May God bless you and your family.
  4. Damn, that thing is sexy in its tiny self. That's midget gun porn!
  5. I have a case or three of them. I should have ordered when I first saw the email. I can always use more.
  6. Nice shooting! Thanks for coming back to give the resolution.
  7. DrFor those running low on ammo, this is one of the better prices in about a year. https://palmettostatearmory.com/hornady-black-6-5-grendel-123gr-eld-match-ammunition-20rds-81528.html?utm_medium=email&utm_source=daily_deals&utm_campaign=20220111&utm_term=morning&utm_content=91132
  8. It might need a little Bondo.
  9. Target Sports has a couple of options for primer available. They have some small rifle and large pistol primers: 5000/$599 https://www.targetsportsusa.com/primers-c-2806.aspx
  10. Eventually, it will all be Soylent Greens. I read somewhere that that movie was set in 2022.
  11. Where the hell is @DayWalker. He hasn't shown up in a while.
  12. I assume you are referring to these and not Bromine. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1301118230
  13. Just a bit of nomenclature, AR-10 is a proprietary term for the Armalite large frame AR. PSA makes the PA10 as a large frame AR. Many of the rest of the 308ARs are DPMS compatible. The reason we make the distinction is that there is no military spec for the large frame AR and there are many different parts that will only fit certain manufacturer's rifles. PSAs PA10 is loosely DPMS compatible but with many proprietary parts. Proper terminology ensures we can recommend correct fixes to the problems that may occur. It is not as easy as the AR15, but that's part of the fun. Mobil1 works well for lube. It's designed for high heat and friction. Give us a range report when you get one.
  14. Welcome to the forum. I am not trying to talk down to you with the rest of my post. You did not indicate your level of firearm knowledge, so I will keep it pretty basic for now. Have you shot the rifle yet? If not, I would not worry much about it being tight. Things will get looser as it breaks in some. I would recommend soaking the BCG in some Mobil-1 overnight before you head to the shoot it. Wipe off the bolt face and let a little of the excess drip off. Then put it in the rifle with a lot of lube still on it. As long as it appears safe, shoot your rifle before doing anything other than lube. Also, you might look at some of the other threads in the PSA section to see what kind of problems you might experience when shooting. PSA can make a 308AR that functions normal most of the time. However, there are some issues that regularly present themselves. It would be wise to be aware of them as you shoot.
  15. Yep, Berryville, AR is a very small town with small town values. One of those days was Christmas Eve and another was New Year's Eve. With the holidays being on Saturday, they may have taken the Monday off instead. I can understand your frustrations, but I'd give them a little leeway for the holidays.
  16. If I can buy groceries online without a jab, I can buy ammo the same way, buh God!
  17. This article is linked from the first one. https://www.motorious.com/articles/features-3/dodge-cancelling-hemi-v8/ While I read it because I have a hemi, it dovetails with the original arrival about the desire to eliminate private car ownership.
  18. That's a nice way to spend the evening.🤷‍♀️
  19. I think I saw you take Vitamin D and zinc. Both are good for immune system and can help to reduce symptoms and duration of the disease.
  20. You have to make it as well!
  21. With that immunity, she should be able to see the Covid viri coming toward her and dodge them like Neo dodged bullets in The Matrix.
  22. If you look at his one other post, it is a restating of @BrianK from a couple of posts above in the mag-cap ban thread. I sense a bot or troll.
