  1. That scope is, set up for 308 , so it should work out . Hows it do with 145 or 149 gr. Mil Spec ? Want a better round for the money , become a good hand loader . <thumbsup>
  2. I'm not painting anything in my kitchen , the wife would plug me . <laughs>
  3. Yes, failure to eject , appears to be jumping off the extractor to me , extractor should be pulling fired case outward , into ejection port. Could also be bolt bounce , but reads he has an adj. gas block & if adj. correctly , it would eliminate over gassing . I don't think any of my 308 bolts have anything ,but the spring with the extractor . Now the Shadow Ops one might , I have a photo of it disassembled & will check. It looks like it has the rubber nipple inside the spring , but thats it .
  4. I think they are going to need them !
  5. Another one ! "You disobey me puppy " <laughs>
  6. Man , thats an accomplishment , good work .
  7. Does Bravo Co make or offer an extractor spring for a 308 Bolt ?
  8. It sure is strange that powder is going to local shops ( which is a good thing ) ,but I don't see much of any thing around here , just odd . Most don't like the WW 748 because they say its temperature sensitive . I have used it , a very long time ago & don't know if I have any loading data on it still around .
  9. Its all in what the barrel & its chamber likes , bullet , powder , case & primer , the right combo , as long as the shooter does he's/her's part . Nice job.
  10. I believe the only way you are going to shut these big name supporters up is through there wallet . When you bleed off some of there money because of there support of the enemies of our Constitution , only then will they rethink there position. Banning them ,there business & there sponsors will at least hopefully get there attention .
  11. The Fuhrer will probably blow another Executive order out of his A$$ to change it or over turn it .
  12. Some of the screw on or threaded on, are made for the early DPMS rail heights , like JP Enterprises , which I like, but there Modular will only fit the old rail height . I also have a Troy Battle rail & have no problems with it on my 300BLK. I also have the Fulton Armory 308 hand guard on my 20 " with the screw on or threaded hand guard tube with the cinch nut & its been on that rifle for a long time . You can get a stock type DPMS one piece tube that is the barrel nut & hand guard all in one, if you don't want a upper rail. You could fit an accessory rail on , but if you ever remove the the hand guard for what ever reason , the upper rail may not match back up with the upper receivers rail ,when even reinstalling the same barrel .Its a crap shoot . Whats good about the clamp on ones , most use the existing barrel nut , not some proprietary system . Just make sure what rail height of DPMS Upper receiver you have & see which fit . If you want rails , that is .
  13. Any one who carries should practice how to handle malfunctions . I will mix dummy rounds in magazines & make low powered loads to cause stove pipe FTE ,just to keep my wife & myself, handy as one can be with failures. It really pisses her off when I do that , cause she never knows when I will do it , if at all . Maybe that's why she likes her revolvers <dontknow>
  14. I'm interested in using this product & have watched there videos on it , are you blasting off the MilSpec finish on the parts ?
  15. Pistol ? Looked like a DPMS configuration , not an AR 10. Not my cup of tea .
  16. You will also have to change your Bolt Carrier to a side charger also . Fulton Armory used to sell one also , but I don't see it on there sight , only a side charging BCG , with a right side charging handle . Most I have seen are on the left side of the receiver. Why change to a side charger ? It its because or not being able to reach the handle under the scope , there are alternatives .Check Out, Mecharmor charging handles , TacOps -1, they are Ambidextrous & wider than stock & work good on my 308's with large scopes & they are others on the market . Compared to a std charging handle w/extended latch.
  17. Yep, I was confused. <dontknow>
  18. Photo from there sight doesn't show the F/A side of the Carrier .
  19. Put the rifle back to original configuration & see how she works . I suspect the Gas Block may not be aligned properly or it is not to spec's., But thats just a guess . Does the Bolt catch hold the BCG back on an empty magazine , if charging handle pulled to the rear & does the BCG stay locked back with the Bolt stop engaged ? What Receiver extension did you use ?
  20. Fixed it for ya <thumbsup>
  21. Wish I had one like that for the 308 upper receivers . The DPMS upper vice block has worked fine for me .
  22. OK , your Paranoid . <laughs>
  23. My older upper receiver clamshell vice block has a tight fitting rod that goes inside the upper receiver .
  24. http://www.beretta.com/en-us/arx-100/ Looks like a Scars or what ever thats called .
