For those of you who don't know, most, if not all police officers take an oath to uphold the U.S. Constitution too, and the Constitution is very thoroughly taught in most police academies. I wouldn't bring it up, but I got into an argument with another member here shortly after I joined who felt that cops didn't know squat about the Constitution.

I don't know much about them, but I can go ask my 3 year old grandson. He's already pretty familiar with his mother's! <lmao>

My son and I talked about this just the other day. His response to me was "When I became a Marine I swore to uphold the U.S. Constitution. There's just not much else to say!" I've stated in the past that I will not give up my guns, but after watching 706 Marines graduating boot camp a few weeks ago I now find myself wondering if I could really fire on a U.S. serviceman! I pray to God that it never comes to that! :(

I picked up 6 mil-surp 30 rnd AR-15 mags at my local gun shop Thursday for $10 apiece. The owner is a standup guy and refuses to price gouge. He asked me if I was going to flip them and I told him he knew me better than that, they are not leaving my hands! On another note, my oldest son who lives in Juneau AK managed to pick up a Stag Arms AR-15 for $1300 Friday. I don't know what model it is, but the thing has a 24" stainless heavy barrel! :o
