I have seen a similar issue as 98. Needed help on a job, they sent a person with almost no ability to speak English. Made more work for me, had to do all communication with emails and texts as well as clearing up miscommunications with the contractor. I am all for bringing good engineers to work in America, they should be required to know the language as the math though!

I run my lights on AR pistols and carbines at 3 O'clock so the don't interfere with strong side barricade shooting. My hunting and "out and about " rifles are set up at 9 o'clock for thumb activation. I tried the pad activation for a larger Surefire light I have but never found a place for it that felt comfortable and didn't lead to accidental activation. BCM has a mount that goes on at 9 or 3 but extends the light up higher, some day I will have one. https://www.bravocompanyusa.com/Arson-Machine-Co-Keymod-Light-Mount-1-Ring-Blac-p/ars-ml-11kgb.htm

Wish BCM would realize keymod is dead and blowout their stock. I need a few rail sections, light attachments, and AFG's

I sense a recall coming
jtallen83 replied to Robocop1051's topic in Firearm Industry News and Gossip
Sounds like the weight of the trigger is a fix, lighter trigger equals less inertia on impact. Many are replacing the factory trigger with a version from Apex that appears to solve the problem. The flat version anyway, Apex may have stopped selling their curved version. https://www.apextactical.com/blog/index.php/apex-news/1339/ -

They already had it implemented on the pistol for the military contract, or rather that system didn't have the problem. The engineering was already done so they were able to move pretty fast with corrections for the civilian model. -

Federal 224 Valkyrie/Larue AR

You can bet if LaRue is on board it will be a great cartridge. Some day when I grow up I'm gonna have a LaRue rifle. -
Welcome from Iowa, via Arkansas!

Midwest Industries have some pretty light handguards. https://www.midwestindustriesinc.com/ SLR also has some light stuff but they are a little pricy, very nice, but pricy; http://slrrifleworks.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=66_107

That is a pocket full of steel for sure!

He picks one spot in the middle of the concert and draws his 250 yard circle around it, why not use the spot the recording was made? I think he talks a good show but is lacking the evidence to make such a concrete statement. Now good investigators should be able to pin down the recording locations from enough people to either confirm or rule out the two shooter theory, wonder why they haven't yet?

Trigger, do you prefer single or double stage? LaRue makes a very nice double stage every bit as good as Giessele, can't go wrong with Giessele though. several here run rifle length gas systems on 16 inch barrels, easily doable. Research that gas block some more. I have not been impressed with it on 308. Mine won't bleed enough gas to make a difference and it is a 16 inch rifle gas. There are threads here on it. I am a fan of SLR blocks. Criterion impressed me on the last build I did. The Fulton HP BCG was a slick part as well, looked like the same improvements you get with JP but much less money. Fulton sells Criterion barrels headspaced with it as a set. Manny here have the SDN-6, I have two, never heard a complaint.

They keep mentioning diazepam, the little yellow pill (although the blue is better), Mothers little helper from the Beatles song..... This is one of the more tried and true drugs on the market, at least since 1963. Any drug is bound to cause issues for some people but if this drug caused people to commit mass shooting there would be a whole lot more of them. I have a valium prescription for muscle spasms, rarely take it and never during the day as it makes me drowsy but I can tell you first hand it doesn't make me violent and is effective in stopping spasms. There are so many other questionable drugs on the market that have a much greater tie to violence and suicide me thinks this is a red herring meant to discredit those that argue against the hoard of useless drugs pushed on us. From the WHO; " Diazepam is on the World Health Organization's List of Essential Medicines, the most effective and safe medicines needed in a health system." Lots of references from this link; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diazepam

Money is the key. We have to be willing to withhold our money from those we disagree with. Vote with your wallet!

Wrench flats on 308 bird cage flash hider?
jtallen83 replied to First Sergeant's topic in General Discussion
Medium pipe wrench I ended up using an adjustable wrench, couldn't seem to get a good snug fit from any of my SAE wrenches. Buffer tube wrench had a slot that fit well but the wrench was flimsy and awkward. -
I liked Steve Bannon's explanation on Hannity, he said it would take decades to actually drain the swamp, paraphrasing. The establishment always tries to placate disadandts with small wins hoping they will pat each other on the back and move on. We have to make sure we are always hungry and demanding more, never satisfied just like the globalist elite establishment in power. They are never satisfied with one restriction or ban, they simply move rapidly to their next step in the agenda.

Another one for the Not One More Inch side, From Mark LaRue; In regards to the 2nd Amendment and the NRA … I have been told so and I understand that I am not the most eloquent person in the world, and I have rubbed a few folks the wrong way. I have failed to properly espouse my stance and some have misunderstood what I tried to convey. So let me clearly state my beliefs in simple words so there is no misunderstanding. I am staunchly Pro 2nd Amendment, I am staunchly Pro Bumpfire stocks and I am staunchly against any moves to limit Our Right to Keep and Bear Arms. Period. I stand firmly with my fellow Americans, fellow shooters, gun collectors, hunters, home defenders, et al, against any regulations on the 2nd Amendment. Period. My life is fully committed to this, and the great country which has allowed me, and you, to prosper. I also believe we must work inside and through the NRA to safeguard our freedoms and liberty. We must work to reform the NRA, so that it fully reflects the beliefs of its members. We must give no ground to those who would strip our liberty and freedom from us. I am fully committed to this fight. We fight not just for ourselves, but for our children, grandchildren, and generations of Americans to come. We must be united together in this fight. There can be no step backwards, only forward. Mark LaRue LaRue Tactical and the NRA

They have both stripped uppers and full uppers that have the dust cover and FA installed, make sure to get on both notification lists.
-
Nice job! Lots of high end parts there, looking forward to hearing how it shoots.
-
Does look like his arm now that you mention it. I find it strange there are no complete pictures of the body, it may quel some of the conspiracy angles. This whole thing needs all the sunlight on that's possible.
-
Get yourself on the email notification list and jump when you get the email. Getting on the list also helps them judge demand so sign up for both complete and stripped uppers.

You might have a short wait but PSA is never out long, especially if it sells fast!

LEO's tell us if what is in these pictures fits the story given. I see an extra leg in one picture? The head shot leaves me with questions but I don't have any experience. Saw a kid use a .22 to try and commit suicide but he never hit the ground and got first aid right away. Headshot is a little graphic so I just posted a link but do have it saved if the link goes dead. http://www.commonsenseevaluation.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/Picutre-Of-Las-Vegas-Shooter-Dead-In-Hotel-Room.jpg
