Always! Always! ALWAYS use Armalite parts in your Armalite rifle. Some parts can be supplemented......ie, buffer, selector, trigger.....yada yada yada. But when it comes to the carrier. Stick with factory parts. Period. Now that I got that out. Pretty much the same questions as the guys have already asked above.

Funny. I had a bottle of nail polish in my tool bag for years. I'd use it when calibrating pneumatic controls. You'd dial in a sensor to get it reading properly. Then dab the calibration screw (a tiny little bastard) with some nail polish. That way the screw wouldn't move. Kinda like some fine-tuning loc-tite. Though you would get some odd looks, when other guys (who didn't know any better) would see it in your tool bag.

Damn....that's a helluva paint job there brother. She's looking good! I like the colors.

I use a UBR stock on my beater 16" 10 carbine. That thing seems to have the perfect balance for the overall weight. But that's probably just me.

If only I could. 15 lowers are a no-go in my state (of confusion and socialism). Can't transfer them anymore. :'(
