  1. I'm gonna guess that it's not riding quite as smooth as it once did.
  2. I'm fine with EV vehicles for what the designed purpose is for. Short range vehicles. They're fine for city dwellers, or suburbanites that don't commute long distance. But as a replacement? Nope. Not yet. Besides, i love seeing the smug face contort when you tell them that their EV is actually powered by coal probably. They just can't except it cause in their little walnut sized brain, they're plugging it in, so it's clean. They're the same ones that have no idea where the water comes from when they use their faucet on their kitchen sink, and have ABSOLUTELY no clue where it goes when it disappears into that whole in the bottom of the sink. It's all magic to them. Circling back to the EV. I think that it's pretty obvious (to me at least) that Musk with Tesla, is planning on using these things on Mars (eventually). Tesla is more like an R&D factory for him than just a car company.
  3. Welcome aboard from Maryland.
  4. OK. Fair enough. Maybe not so modest and simple at times.
  5. A mere 60 degree drop. That'll get your attention.
  6. Yeah......You're right about this.
  7. OK. Just found it. And yes, I feel that way most of the time.
  8. Yep. Never heard of that one either.
  9. Modest and simple always work my man. Looks good.
  10. Too long, didn't read. I see that you're in the same boat with me. That's gonna mean a lot of empty beer cans in that boat.
  11. Well who doesn't get a good laugh when threads go sideways? Especially when someone digs their heels in. Also. Am I the only one that had to look up what the hell TLDR stood for? Fuk....I guess I am getting old. Or....the hermit can't learn the modern slang while being a hermit. Ha
  12. Where's all the peace and love, being it's the Christmas/New Years season? Obviously not in this thread. Don't mind me......I'm the Armalite guy.
  13. Because of guys like him, we're still speaking English. A giant thank you, for the elder brother.
  14. RIP sir. Thank you for everything you did.
  15. Ahhh....two of my oldest friends.
  16. A true American warrior. Great find Al.
  17. I'll refrain about aforementioned dirty guns. Just because.........well........you know.
  18. They're too far gone my man. They would never understand this crowd. And I would never ask this crowd to understand them. My clock is ticking with them......and that's why my brother's here.....are much closer to me than they can ever be. But that's not what we're all here to think about. Once again. Merry Christmas to all of you deplorable bastards. Ya filthy animals.
  19. Looks good. Run it!
  20. I've never even heard of that one Eric. Good find my man.
  21. Now why ya gotta go calling me out on Christmas? There's not too many people that I would drive across country with.......without ever meeting beforehand. So you're in the special category my friend. Especially to you, ya Fuker! Love ya brother. Can't wait to see you again sometime soon hopefully. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Okay, Okay. Now that THAT's out of the way. I've never hid the fact that I like a lot of you guys much more than my own blood brothers. And not just because my two blood brothers are bums. But because a lot of you guys are the ones that can truly be counted on (if ever needed). My personal MO is that I don't ever want to be a burden, or to interfere with anybody else's situation in life. But that being said, I don't doubt for as moment, that there's many of you that I could completely (seriously) count on if needed. Also, I would hope that you would know that I will always be there for you too. ALWAYS. As Dirk said. I'm glad that you all would have me all these years. I'll be happy to spend the day with both of my parents, at least one more time, tomorrow. And I'll be thinking of you no good, rotten bastards also.....albeit if only for a moment. Merry Christmas to all of my brothers here. (glass held high)
  22. That's a good lookin unit there Belt Fed.
  23. No. No, No. Don't go exaggerating things Fuker. It was a "no-bounce" hammer that we were tapping the bolt back with. Pay no attention to some of these clowns @Super Dick, they're just not happy sometimes unless they're slinging $hit at others. Luckily.....I never engage in that type of behavior. For your rifle. Something you can try is to soak your BCG in a pan of Mobil 1 overnight (completely submerged). When you pull it out, only dry off the face of the bolt, and drop her into the rifle. You'll literally be slinging oil when you first start running it. These large framed AR's like to run "wet" during break-in. And......it can never hurt.
  24. I was thinking the same thing. Possibly. Oh, and....... FUKER!
  25. I'm right there with you Jim. I had the same type of "worn latch" fix on one of mine. The CS was outstanding. Painless, fast and zero cost to me. Plus, they even re-did the finish on the outside from where I had scratched it up over the years. Hopefully, they don't degrade the CS side of AAC.
