  1. Maybe he has an engineering background.
  2. Pretty much what has been said here so far is spot on. I don't own any DD 308 AR's. But I do own a couple of their small framed versions. And many members around here can tell you that I don't baby my equipment. In fact, I pretty much pound on my MK18 just because I know that it can take it, and that it was designed to be used in such a way. Daniels makes nothing but quality. Do they cost more? Yes. Are they worth it? In my little lizard brain.......yes. Now that being said. I don't own any of their large frame (308) rifles. But, having handled them, they're right in line with their small framed cousins. I wouldn't mind having one in my gun box. And I'm the Armalite guy.
  3. And here's another heart-warming story book. Santa's Husband: Kibblesmith, Daniel, Quach, A P: 9780062748744: Amazon.com: Books
  4. Here we go again. 20 or so pages worth?

  7. I don't think that he really exists. He's been a figment of our imaginations all this time.
  8. Yes. A BIG ol Merry Christmas to you no good, low down, rat bastards. And, as the great Groucho Marx once said, "I don't want to be a member of any club that would let a guy like me into it" But I'll make an exception for you deplorable low-lifes.
  9. Welcome aboard from Maryland.
  10. Pretty sweet looking.

  13. Nope. No big deal my brothers. I was just venting a little. There is a whole rabbit hole that I can go down about the company. Promises made (to the tune of a percentage of the company). And promises never kept once the company started taking off. Just another example of, "always get it in writing". I've always liked to think of myself as a "handshake" type of guy. Just another example of how others just don't follow that type of rule. Oh, and I'll dig that bitch out of the trash for ya Tom. Just out of principle, I don't want the damn thing.
  14. We're the same way my man. Once you go on "that" list.......you don't ever come off. To me, it's just easier that way.
  15. Yeah. My company just got bought out about 6 weeks ago (ish). A much larger (corporate) outfit is who bought us out. I've been with the company pretty much since the owner started it back in 08. He started it literally on 1 January of 2008. Followed shortly by hiring my son (who a number of you know), only to bring me onboard a few months later (somewhere around April of 08) once the business could "afford" me. I'm not the type to ever complain about Christmas bonuses. I've always been of the mindset, that they're exactly what they're called......a bonus. Not a guarantee. Traditionally, through the years, I've always been taken care of pretty good. The owner always acknowledged that he knew that without a guy like me, back at the beginning, that his company wouldn't be where it's at. Over the years I've gotten accustomed to, but still never expected, a Christmas bonus that has grown upward to almost 4 grand. This year? I just got a Yeti mug and a 200 dollar gift card. (Merry Christmas Fuker). Part of me still stands by my original theory that I've had throughout my entire working career. The other part? Well....let's just say that THAT part was kind of insulted, and threw them both in the fukin trash.
  16. T - 4 hours and I'm officially on vacation until the 4th. I'm ready for this, since my annual Arizona trip to the SDTF got stolen from me earlier in the year.
