LUBE you need a lot of lube for the first 300 or so if it is a bit dry and parts are dragging it could slow the BCG down just enough to cause a double feed.... how wet do you run the rifle? and what lube.

reliable.... = maintenance and how good you are at it these 308 guns are a different animal, any big difference in builds means harder to find parts, stick with something you can build or replace easily.. some of the systems out there are on their own as far as available.... goes... accurate = you , you are the biggest part of that equation the very best rifle can have a so so trigger, and if you can not hold it where it needs to be then it is not the fault of the rifle buy a rifle or build one it is easy, and buy the parts that mean the most for you like a awesome barrel, trigger, etc then you will have what you want not what someone else says you want.... these companies are in business to make money build your own and use your money to get the parts you want.

Maybe I am reading this wrong but if so sorry but you will need a new stamp for your 308 SBR each lower has to have a stamp ..

and remember a SBR 308 is a NAFA Item got to get the stamp..... but hey cool toys are worth it sig make s a fine gun...

yep I get it my 2400 screws right on any 51T adaptor 5/8ths or 1/2 that was the reason for this tread....could be a bad deal so you always have to keep your wits about you which is a task for me sometimes ... :)

Go for a lighter rifle this time it is hard but it can be done I have a DPMS I reworked and got it down to 8 and 1/2 lbs..... very nice rifles you have built welcome...from Idaho.

The only 5/8x24 ihave is on my 308 all my 5.56 barrels are 1/2 by 28 so yeah I am confused as well.... where did you get a 5/8ths 5.56 barrel?
