Those situations, if you have to think about how to react, its probably too late. Hard, fast and as much force as possible. Plus most people now are sheep. That's what the powers that be want. There's a bunch of wolves out there to prey on them, and not enough sheep dogs to make the wolves pay for it. Had numerous arguments with my wife over this. On the forum here we generally use the term "308AR" for a term for this rifle class as "AR10" is trademarked specific to Armalite 308 rifles. Maybe use PAR10 for the PSA rifles. It helps in keeping proprietary 308 styles separate.

When they opened my heel up to grind it down, Doc said my Achilles looked like spaghetti from the lacerations from the bone spur. Four months on crutches. Glad your out of pain Bro. Might just be a chunk of broke off bone, they do that at times. They biopsied my bone spur just to be safe.

If you are looking for distance accuracy I would go with the 20" 1 in 7 twist. Pair up with 75-77 grain BTHP's that will get you the most distance before you get key holing. Should make 500 yards pretty easy, unless of course, you want to go 22"- Law of diminishing return after that. Find some info on the Marine Marksmanship team, they did some innovative work with the 5,56.
