  1. Hope you hear what sounds good to you. And no worries.
  2. I know they will put on anything you want for furniture. Their handguards only have the fixed pic rail on top, the other 3 rails are easily removed if desired. As far as accuracy goes, i have never punched paper for groups with mine. i shoot mine with irons, and it is capable of more accuracy than I can hold to. They are fitted with match chambered barrels, and (I believe) their barrels are Kreigers...but don't quote me on that. I can hit 1/4 chunks of clay pigeons with ease at 110 yards (back of range berm), and do that all day if I can hold still...the gun has no problem hitting exactly what the irons were aimed at when the trigger is pulled. Just from my experience, I am confident in saying one of theirs should be able to get the job done. If your are looking for a match rifle, they do have upgraded models available, and will put in whatever parts you want inside one.
  3. I can't speak on anything about the functionality of Del-ton rifles, other than I have heard they work well....but I can say that I prefer a rifle length gas system on any 308AR, rather than the carbine length they put on theirs. For that neighborhood of price range...try this: http://www.apfarmory.com/apf-308-carbine/ From the description of the Del-ton rifle on their site, there is alot of the same features shared, with a few upgrades (as I see them) on the APF. I like the rifle length handguards, rifle length gas system, free float barrel; just to name a few. Standard disclaimer; I am NOT affiliated with APF in any way, just really like their products and service.
  4. That is really cool!
  5. Without even thinking too hard, we were talking (around the supper table) about banning high carrying capacity trucks, especially those with those fast shifting automatic transmissions!!!!!!!! And my oldest son came up with the fast shifting automatic trans comment....chip off the old, scraggly block!!!! Still not a good scene in France....no joke.
  6. That would explain most of the fast shooting (low recoil with that round from an AK74 rifle) and the higher hit percentage (if he got a good one, they are MOA easy). Plus the 5.45 round is all steel core (milsurp anyway).
  7. Here is the style of what I am looking for....slick sided. Just in case anyone has one collecting dust.
  8. Completely smooth sided, like the old style dpms uppers. No forward assist sticking out the side. Ala, the Oracle style, if I am not mistaken. I am having my local 'smith put a side charger handle on my 308AR, and finding a smooth side upper would save him lathe time, and me money. And I know I can find new ones out there from manufacturers, but wanted to check with you guys to see if anyone had one laying around that needed a home.
  9. I am looking for a stripped, smooth sided, 308 upper. No forward assist, or any of that needed. DPMS style, low/normal height rail....no high rail heights needed. Whatcha got, and price?
  10. And don't mix up sized and unsized brass in the same container marked "ready to load"....tends to make things interesting to say the least.
  11. i also had heard this quite a few years ago, still haven't figured out just what all that much.....errrr, "toys" (for a lack of a better word) is being used for. Wait!!!! They have figured out that going out shooting and blowing stuff up is a GREAT stress reliever!!!!! ....yup, that's IT!!!!!!!
  12. Liberals in power decimate the military. That is what the title should be reading like.....
  13. Looks like you are correct, but photo gets too grainy for 100% positive when enlarged for me.
  14. Does it even sound correct to have a 5.4 oz buffer in a 308? Rifle length gas system; rifle buttstock tube for info. That is what is in mine, and gives 100% function.....
  15. F`n A!!!!!!! BWwaaahhhaahahha
  16. Some like them, some hate them. I just prefer to not use them. One friend does use them, in his throw away shooting loads.
  17. Seriously, if there is the kind of recoil reduction claimed from a heavy buffer, then I want in....controlability is where it's at for me!
  18. No problems with mine, just trying to spend cashola to forget the problems. ....
  19. Wow, just wow......We are....,
  20. Seen the vid a couple days ago Good stuff as usual!
  21. My buffer from my 308 rattles when shaken (out of gun, in hand). Is that normal for the buffers' internal weights to rattle? Info for buffer: APF factory, and don't know what weight. I will be weighing it today, so I will be in a better position to know which one I can replace it with.
  22. Went to church as usual. Came home from talking with inlaws and my parents. Then took a good nap, woke up to head out to a great burger at my favorite place to eat them at (paid for by my boys). It is pretty bittersweet, as that place will be closing next weekend.
  23. Perfect rendering of that theory, at least for me.
  24. I honestly havenever seen better film making!!!!!!!! HAHAHHAAAHAHAAAAHAAA!!!!!!!!!
  25. I know I am way late to this thread, but when the first reports trickled in with no mention of who did the shooting, I knew then it was a mooselimb. Our idiots in reporting will drag their feet on saying anything about who it is, UNLESS the shooter happens to be white and male, so their narrative fits. I was busy all day yesterday at a street fair, and none of the comments from anyone about this was different than ours here, on the forum.
