  1. I ordered an upper from Bear Creek that had an AR-15 rifle length gas tube for a 6.5 Creedmoor. Large frame AR's take different parts. Some manufacturer s don't understand the difference.
  2. That is a AR-15 gas tube in there. The AR10 rifl s tube is longer. https://www.armalite.com/SACItem.aspx?Item=10007010 This is the one you need. Here is the link to the proper buffer. https://www.armalite.com/SACItem.aspx?Item=EA1090 This link has the spring and buffer and gives you a spare extension. https://www.armalite.com/SACItem.aspx?Item=AR10REKIT02&ReturnURL=/Armalite/Product-Category/AR10-Parts-Accessories/Lower-Receiver-Parts&Category=ac614400-ff09-4cdf-9d35-419a654e7201 If the web says out of stock call them they usually can find the parts.
  3. These shoot well for me @$1.65 https://www.theamericanmarksman.com/bullets-1st-7.62-m118lr-175-gr-125-ct.html
  4. Looks like fun.
  5. We go every time we come in for rolling thunder. Almost every year since 2006.
  6. My buddies pics from our trip to Arlington this weekend.
  7. The monstrum scopes are cheap Chinese scopes. I have 2 and they hold zero so far. They are on short range toys. My serious guns get better scopes. I always install the rings first and then install the scope
  8. Looks good BUT what is that ugly growth on the pistol grip?
  9. I have 3 or 4 Austrian metric mags around here somewhere I might part with. I sold the fal's a while back.
  10. Looks like fun.
  11. Not a pic but watch the video. The good part comes after the replay of the Gretta girl. https://redstate.com/sister-toldjah/2021/05/27/australian-tv-show-host-wrecks-greta-thunberg-other-climate-activists-in-classic-must-watch-segment-n387564?utm_source=rsmorningbriefing&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=nl&bcid=6cc3fd0c5bd764bbfe9ca3a9f9343984
  12. I suspect your dimples are not straight under the gas port. You can fix that. Take the gas block off and look at the carbon ring around the gas port. Is it centered?
  13. Ok you dimpled the barrel for the gas block. Did the gun run w/a fixed gas block? Bet if you take the gas block off the carbon pattern is to one side instead of centered. As long as the gas block doesn't touch the rails it shouldn't change your point of impact.
  14. If it's not @12 o'clock it shouldn't have left the factory. It shouldn't be to late to send back to the factory if it's not right. Faxon is good about fixing screwups. If it works and you are happy with it then leave well enough alone. Did the barrel extension come loose a little bit? Those are installed before the gas port is drilled SO the gas port is at 12 o'clock
  15. If my gas port was not at 12 o'clock when it was installed in the upper it would be going back to the factory.
  16. Hi first off is this a rifle or carbine recoil system? The PA10's w/a carbine recoil system can be changed to a heavier buffer and spring. As far as easier charging, you need a lot more spring to control the greater bolt mass. How many rounds have you shot through it? The bolt will operate smoother after broken in. Please stop by the introduction section and tell us a bit about yourself.
  17. Here is what I have. PM me your address and I'll drop them in the mail. I am leaving for Rolling thunder this week so it will probably be the end of next week before I get to the post office. These were on my PA10 from the factory.
  18. I think I have all the stuff off my PA10 somewhere. I'll poke around in my box's the next day or two.
  19. More like rare. Only 19 made. No pin hole for full auto sear.
  20. I just picked up one of those. It looks well made. I haven't put in anything and shot it yet. Just ordered it as a spare. But then again there is a heavy barrel creedmoor barrel and an aero upper laying on the workbench.
  21. And a 6mm ARC would let you compare between the Grendel and the 6ARC. Purely for scientific purposes of course.
  22. By all means. You NEED a Grendel.
