What folks don't seem to get is as long as the proper amount of gas gets to the bcg and you have the recoil system to handle the mass moving it DOESN'T MATTER how long your barrel and gas system is. It's all about balancing the amount of reciprocating weight. Dwell time does factor in to the equation. As long as the bullet stays in the barrel long enough for the proper amount of gas to move the bcg there is not a dwell time problem.

Before the stupidity started Hornady American Gunner 6.5 creedmoor was about $140 for 200 rnds. My rifle shoots those really well. Right now everything in that caliber is almost $3.00 a round. I expect it to come back down some eventually. If I could find powder and primers I would reload my brass.

Gas blocks are usually smaller than the piston set up LMT usually uses. The piston set up on my CMMG is larger than a regular gas block.

At 35 yds you should be about 2" low. That high at 35 yds you might be shooting over the target at 100yds . For iron sights you are doing good. Remember to move the front sight opposite the direction you want the impact to move.

CDNN sports has some kits less barrel, bcg for $599. DPMS lower and billet uppers.
