  1. You only just saved your own hide on that one. Speaking of hides, isn't "Thumper" the name of a soft fuzzy little cute rabbit in a Disney film? <laughs> <lmao> :hornet:
  2. I don't remember what yours was, can you repost it?
  3. It's worth reiterating that PACT has specifically stated that the SR Gold is manufactured to be modified if the fitment is too tight to the safety lever. They leave extra material on that trigger tang, nothing wrong with doing your own fitment if you feel comfortable doing so.
  4. <laughs> <lmao>
  5. Welcome to the forums, good to see you here!
  6. Those babies look fine! So uh, when do we get to see vids of them in action? <munch>
  7. Pics in a first post? It's like a dream come true... LOL Welcome to the forums brother! <thumbsup>
  8. Stan the Man sounds like a real American hero, and on behalf of myself and my family, we appreciate his service. Thanks for sharing that, I love reading stuff like this.
  9. This.... ... and this... ...are instant hard-on material. I LOVE the Mustang! Thanks for posting these up shepp!
  10. I saw that over on the 'Hide. Congratulations! Post up some pics!
  11. Nice rifle, I love the camo! Oh, and welcome to the forums! 8)
  12. LOL All in good fun brother, all in good fun. To the point of the original topic, any word yet on when these will be in production for larger receiver ARs?
  13. Good to have you, welcome to the forums!
  14. That site is blacklisted here for their hypocrisy and anti gun stance. We do what we can to boycott them whenever we can. The site news link is here: http://308ar.com/forum/site-news-and-support/why-were-my-links-changed-or-removed-lteditgt-*see-site-news*/
  15. If you have an item listed for sale that hasn't already been sold, we'd like to have a picture of each item. It will hopefully keep us from having to referee fights about "what I got isn't what was described". <thumbsup>
  16. Oh yeah, I was in a sort of ranting mood and spotted an open door... If I get too windy just kick the soapbox out from underneath me.. <thumbsup>
  17. I tried that once... I got, "You can have a closed casket, or be cremated, which do you prefer?"... *sigh* One of these days.... <laughs>
  18. The logic is sneak it in under the radar, whatever it takes to get the BS past the filter of the people who do not wish to see their rights diminish. In this case, it's just another government failure.
  19. You have every right to get the service promised or your money back. Since future business is off the books with these guys, wait for a nice crowd in the store and bring in a police officer with you to get your refund. They will probably give you your refund with no questions asked, no bad attitude proffered, AND their potential customers will get a hint at what kind of service they offer.
  20. I don't know about too hot to handle. My question regarding this kind of stuff is, how paranoid do I have to be before I'm right, and how paranoid can I be before I'm wrong? <dontknow> :cookoo:
  21. It's a terrible tragedy all the way around. I don't think the timing is just a coincidence either... but if it is part of a conspiracy, the investigation into the incident will tell you little, if anything. Just another heyday for the anti-gun lobby and the press.
  22. My sentiments exactly. Couldn't've said it any better...
  23. I run mine wet all the time, but you will probably find that as you get it broke in, you will not need to run it quite as wet as you do at first. Trial and error would be the best way to find where it's comfortable. If you still have issues running it lightly oiled, add a little more and shoot to test. If you get to the point where you still have issues with a nice heavily oiled carrier group, it's time to look at other contributing factors. My personal method is to diagnose from the cheapest factors up.... Use whatever works best for you.
  24. I think the story is just that, a story. As long as you don't run your 308 AR bone dry on your first range session, you should be fine. Oil your bolt carrier up nice and wet before you begin firing, and just shoot the crap out of it. <thumbsup>
  25. The only truly worrisome issue you will face is the addictiveness of the 308 AR in general... <laughs> <lmao> No seriously, run before you get infected. :o :cookoo: Enjoy your stay on the forums!
