  1. You need any help with those Banshees, just let me know. I've been known to work on those in the past... <thumbsup> There's some great stuff to ride along the OR coast. That's a different kind of riding than down here - that's WET sand! :)) I know a few places up there still that can help you out, if I can't. Banshees are damn near a cult following, brother. Moreso than my 250R. That 500 just has to SCREAM, man...
  2. Oh, SNAP!!! I'm thinking this is something I might want to apply for, right here... EDIT... Done!
  3. I can run for a couple hours. Doesn't last nearly as long as a full tank on the 4-stroke bikes. On longer rides, I have to carry a quart-sized Gatorade bottle in my pack, filled with pre-mix. That extra quart gets me about even with a full tank on the 4-strokes. EDIT - Plus, I'm an idiot... If guys are sitting at the bottom or on top, watching all the Shenanigans, I'm running the hill and being part of the Shenanigans...
  4. Fixed - hit it, brother. It WAS listed as "private," now it's moved over to "unlisted..." Should be able to click-away and watch. <thumbsup>
  5. I shoot with mine. Well, I take her shooting when I go. She also shoots without me - because she knows where my ammo stash is, and has the access to the storage. I'm almost afraid to go to work, because I might come home and have no "ammo reserve" anymore. She's ridiculous-ness. AND... She tries to steal all my parts. Having her own builds going on isn't enough, I guess... <dontknow>
  6. Victoria's Secret makes the a$s-sling... <thumbsup> I didn't even see a rifle sling in that pic. <dontknow>
  7. I'm waiting on that news, brother, BIG TIME!!! We could make all-dune runs all the way from the south up to China Wall, and Brawley Slide!@!!!!!!!!!!
  8. The rifle sling, or the a$s-sling?...
  9. The ALG ACT is a very, very worthy trigger - but it's not a 2-stage. If the OP is set on a two stage, there's the Geissele route he can take, or just get the Armalite 2-stage national Match trigger... It's definitely worth the money, and won't bust up on him. My info on the Geissele triggers is all over this site. Here's me review on the Armalite 2-stage National Match:
  10. I'm gonna print those up and take them out next time the two 17-year-old boys pistol shoot... <lmao>
  11. HELL YEAH, BROTHER!!! :happydrunks: :hethan: <laughs>
  12. Yeah, one more suggestion. Spend twice that $100.00 you planned, and get a Geissele SSA. It won't break. As the saying goes, "Buy once, Cry once..." That's the SECOND DPMS two-stage that's failed on you?...
  13. You saying you have different long guns for different purposes?... <lmao>
  14. H&K MP5 with a Choate side-folder stock... Dawn Marie is looking over my shoulder, so I have to talk about the damn gun... <dontknow>
  15. The place is Imperial Sand Dunes Rec Area - ISDRA. Better known as Glamis Sand Dunes. It's about 45 miles from north to south, 6 miles wide, and something like 118,000 square acres of area. Most of it is closed because of tree-huggers and environmentalists, but there's still a ton of legal riding area. Much more than you can see in one weekend, that's for sure. Should be able to see it since I linked it here. It's an unlisted video so people can't search and hit it, but the link should get you to it. I'll check the settings on it again. <thumbsup>
  16. 20-minute long vid, last Saturday afternoon, after the heavy morning winds kind of died down. This give you some idea of how big that sand really is. <thumbsup>
  17. That guy is actually legit, brother - Mike has even used him as a source in the past. <thumbsup>
  18. VERY well done! :hail: :hethan:
  19. I specifically asked a Hodgdon Rep this question at the SHOT booth of theirs - "VARGET, have you guys stopped making it? Because it can't be found ANYWHERE..." He laughed, and said "No, last year, during all this stuff, we made 50,000 pounds of VARGET, and shipped it." Hoarders, brother, hoarders. The manufacturers haven't slowed down what they're doing. On the opposite side of that, they've hired more people to run more shifts, and they're making more of it now...
  20. Damn, it's the folder, too - the expensive one. Is this the same guy that finally got this rifle, to replace the faulty *Iwon'tmentionthebrand* rifle?
  21. Sierra's data is different again, from that ^^^. Sierra doesn't list H110 for the 150s, they stop at the 135s with it. They run the LilGun in both though.
  22. Aaaaand, I see something interesting, again! <thumbsup> #3 and #7 - slightly lower numbers from the 20" barrel... 20~25% less from the 20"? But that #7 load was using the WW primers? Previously, the CCI primers beat the WW primers by about 50%? #6 and #7 - identical loads from the 20", only primers as the difference - and the numbers for the CCI primers are almost half again. Gotta be the age of the WW primers - but, there's a definite difference between the 16" and 20" barrels there, too, when you look at #3 and #6 loads. Makes me want to pick up new WW primers and load up some rounds/data to see if there's a real difference, when you rule out the age of the primers. That's some damn good stuff, ss! <thumbsup>
  23. Don't like what I saw from them on the H110 and 300BLK with 150gr projectiles. I'm shooting 16.5 grains of H110, and they're saying the maximum is 16.2 grains. Need to load up some at the lesser charge and see how they do. <dontknow>
  24. ^^^ That right there is the truth. We don't worry about the valve springs in our vehicles do we? I mean, nobody gets up in the middle of the night and bumps the engine over, just because some of the springs are fully compressed, with valves open...
  25. If the bolt isn't fully rotated in the barrel extension, and the bolt carrier isn't fully forward, then the firing pin is too short to reach the primer. There's much debate all over the 'net about out-of-battery explosions - but the above is the truth. If those conditions aren't met (bolt fully seated in extension, BCG fully forward), then the firing pin hitting the primer "early" isn't what's causing something like that. I'm just sayin'.
