  1. Average... over the string. And, she's a sponsored 3-Gunner. I'd like to see the shots on a timer, check out all the splits, from a normal human being... <lmao> Both vids that were on that FB page were sponsored 3-Gunners, and you could definitely hear the rate of fire slow down on that one guy. That's why I want to look at each split. $hit, I'll just buy a Hiperfire 24C competition trigger and run a vid myself. Right beside a S3G vid. I'll determine which one can be shot faster by a mere mortal, about as equal as all things can be equal. I'll run both in the same rifle. Just got another good paycheck - trigger will be ordered soon. After I run it, I'll decide whether I'm keeping it and putting it in something, or if it's going to the FS section here. <dontknow>
  2. Damn. We missed BIG TIME!!! <lmao>
  3. That's a BIG BEER!!! I'll bet the little smarta$s can't chug the whole thing... <lmao>
  4. ...aaaaaaand I'll be working tomorrow... :'(
  5. This kinda stuff makes my blood boil. 'Nuff said.
  6. Nah, brother - I got the tip from ya, but I haven't had the time to drag my a$s over there yet. I missed out, too... <lmao> You know who I'll be going through for powder now. <thumbsup>
  7. RIGHT ON! Welcome from AZ - let us know where you're at. Really? You're gonna call it "a few" times? Eff it, I'm moving into your back yard... <lmao>
  8. 11.5" barrel w/ A2 flash suppressor is exactly 20" OAL, from the back of the upper receiver. Charging handle and forward assist stick back a little more, but I measured to the back of the receiver.
  9. Taurus PT92 here. I hate the M9. With a passion. That slide mounted safety is the dumbest $hit in the world, and decockers suck. My $0.02. <dontknow>
  10. I was just wondering this same thing - but backwards - when I was loading the 300BLK that I cut down. The die set I picked up for the Blackout was RCBS AR-Series 300 BLK dies, which are small base dies. In Dawn Marie's new build, the very first rounds I hand-cycled through it were my cut down 5.56 cases, fully loaded ammo. I had a hell of a time fully closing the bolt on them. After two or three attempts for the ones that failed to chamber, they'd go. If they failed to chamber in hers, I'd run it through mine and it would chamber. Her rifle would chamber 110gr Barnes TTSX factory loaded ammo. My reloads were the issue, including some once-fired (but now reloaded) 300 Blackout factory cases. Pissed me off. Headspace was checked before the barrel went on, with the bolt for her rifle. So, my final conclusion on it - tight chamber. Let's go shoot it. Now, my question is: those small base dies messing with me, for some reason? Or is it a combination of the small base dies and her chamber? Or would it simply be "just her chamber?" That was an aggravating experience, before I just said fuk it, and shot the thing.
  11. Ah, yessssss... You have been a victim of Lesson 65b... <lmao>
  12. Damn Trigger Thief! :rant2:
  13. I love the VooDoo Tactical bags, man - great stuff!
  14. That is NUTS!
  15. When he did that drop-in, he hit more towards the base of the ramp, lower on the transition - he broke the $hit out of his right hand on that landing. Watch it again, and watch for the landing on the drop-in. Dirk... WHY have you never talked about that at T-Day, brother?! THAT'S BADASS!!! :hail:
  16. That was a damn good vid! He got a piece of that scene from a New Year's Eve stunt he did in Vegas a few years ago - that was sweet to see a twist to that. Robbie Maddison is a BAAAAAAAD DUDE!!! Here's the Red Bull NYE jump in Vegas - some of you guys should remember this, if you were home for New Year's and had the TV on. THIS was a Step-Up from HELL!!!
  17. Damn! Jon, you are one M E A N bastard! <lmao> I've never seen a cast iron PRESS break before, but I have done my own share of breaking the stuff in Jeeps and trucks, I will freely admit that.
  18. Whooooooo! I puckered when he went sideways!!! I didn't think that guardrail was gonna hold him back!!!
  19. That's the most important thing about all of these 308 platforms. Soooooo many manufacturers now, just for receivers.
  20. Yeah, brother - Super 3 Gun, Geissele S3G
  21. As I did. The rest of the state is great. Just not where I lived. DC can kiss my a$s, now and forever more... Ron needs to get out of there, by the way. Hey Matt! How'd you like that Clark Kent on your a$s, you Calvin Klein-wearin;.... <lmao>
  22. This vid kills me - semi-drifting is cool. I want that Challenger.
  23. You missed his opening statement in that article, brother: I worked with this guy in 1995 and 1996 - he's no-BS. He is where he is now because of that.
  24. Not saying that this exact thing could happen if you don't check headspace - bolt lodged in your shoulder - but something similar could DEFINITELY happen if your headspace isn't even verified - and it's off, and very tight or very loose... If you don't check it, you won't know until you pull the trigger the first time, too... I'm just sayin'. In reference to the 308 ARs, there IS no set standard, no pattern to go by, and definitely no TDP to follow in producing the parts for them. Hell, there are three MAJOR different platforms/patterns in them, and by now, possibly thousands of manufacturers of parts, components, barrels, etc. You can probably build any AR-15 variant you want, not check headspace, and you'll just be fine. Please check the headspace on your 308 AR build, though. Not for us. For you.
  25. I honestly don't think he's got an agenda with that, Clint. Really, man. I support your side of it, too, in reference to their interest in the 308 market - they had none. Well, until now. They make GREAT AR/M4 springs. GREAT stuff. Not just he action springs - the extractor springs as well. For durability, they have that all sewn up. I wish they'd put the time into the 308 market that they did into the AR/M4 market - we'd see a great product from them for the 308s.
