  1. He stomped on his own dick, whilst wearing golf cleats...
  2. I'd take Pat up on that offer. If it truly comes down to the barrel being a POS, then I want a crack at that barrel, to try to develop a load that it might like. If I can't come up with ANYTHING that it likes, then it becomes one long tent stake, or a pry bar. And I don't mind that. If you need a barrel that WILL shoot, for positive, and won't break the bank -hit up Ballistic Advantage or Fulton Armory. I'd also recommend Faxon, but they don't have anything that will be comparable (material, profile) to get you into M110 Service comp. Fulton Armory has a direct copy of an M110 barrel. BA has a few great ones that would fit the bill, and make the M110 categorization. Read the FA intro on their .308AR wares: https://www.fulton-armory.com/FAR-308-Titan.aspx Here is their barrels page: https://www.fulton-armory.com/far-308-barrels.aspx Here are their M110 barrels, Criterion first, Kreiger second - you're gonna pay for that Kreiger... Both are great. https://www.fulton-armory.com/barrelfatitan20nmm110ss1x12875gasblockthreaded.aspx https://www.fulton-armory.com/barrelfatitan20nmm110ss1x12875gasblockthreaded-2.aspx From Ballistic Advantage, these will fit the bill: https://www.ballisticadvantage.com/20-inch-308-gov-rifle-ss-premium-barrel.html https://www.ballisticadvantage.com/20-inch-308-fluted-rifle-ss-premium-barrel.html

    260 loads

This is the barrel I have: https://shopwilsoncombat.com/Match-Grade-Barrel-260-Remington-Tactical-Hunter-20-1-8-Twist-Stainless-Fluted/productinfo/TR-260THRG20FT8/

    260 loads

1:8" twist on the Wilson Combat Tactical Hunter barrel, 20" barrel with rifle gas system. Stabilizes the 147s just fine, out to the 1200 yards that I've shot it to. That gun had never seen any factory ammunition in two years, until I started testing NEXUS ammunition. Everything through it, since day one, was handloads, prior to that. I set my COAL to 2.785", and it works great. Mag length is never an issue. If you have a good quality barrel, that load I listed will rip some shiit up, through a 1:8" twist.
  5. Lake City NATO brass made in 2018. That's some good stuff. The circle with the cross in it is the NATO stamp - lots of ammo manufacturers make NATO-spec brass and loadings. All true mil-spec NATO ammunition loadings will have that NATO stamp on the case head, regardless of manufacturer. The LC is Lake City Army Ammunition Plant, and the 18 designates the year it was made. Among all NATO brass, my preference is LC brass.

    260 loads

If I'm making a Hunting-Only load, to 500 yards, this is what I load - Barnes 120gr solid-copper TSX hunting projectile, same brass and CCI 200 primer I mentioned above, Accurate 2495 powder at 37.4 grains. I'll take this all day long, on a hunt. TSX projectiles are devastating on game.
  7. If I could live in that, I wouldn't care if I saw another person publicly, ever. Minus you fuckers, of course. You'd always be welcome, in the Bunker-Of-All-Bunkers... If I lived there, I'd taunt Dem politicians... Just Because... This guy would get a HUGE ration of shiiit for what he says... If THAT PLACE was my home, my response would be simple, and I'd make sure it got back to him on his "campaign promise..." Uh, Hey Beto, here's my address... Looking forward to your arrival and confiscation game...
  8. I love this one, right here. Don't ever give her any slack, brother, for nuthin'...

    260 loads

I've got two cases of 139gr Lapua Scenars to test through the .260 in the coming month-ish, so stay tuned for the details. I'd leave the 123s for the 6.5 Grendel guns, and move to something heavier for the .260 Rem, if I were you. I have lots of time on both now, so that info isn't given lightly.

    260 loads

I'm running heavier projectiles. 147gr Hornady ELD-Ms. RL-22, 43.0 grains, resized Hornady .308 Match brass, neck turned with KM Precision turning die, CCI 200 primers. 2650 fps from a 20" rifle gas Wilson Combat barrel. I'm moving to CCI 34 primers and see how it does. As it is now, this gun can paint a Mel Gibson Lethal Weapon smilie face target on full-size IPSC steel plate head at 300 yards. It's just stupid accurate.
  11. Post a pic of the headstamp.
  12. Foolish recommendation. Great recommendation. ToolCraft makes the BCGs for Aero Precision, Brownell's, and most other "OEM Manufacturers" Google search "TOOLCRAFT BCG" in whatever caliber you're looking for, and go with a reputable dealer, and not a shiitbag "rejected parts dealer." They're on sale all the time, from someone, somewhere. ToolCraft BCGs are what you need to compare everything ELSE to. LaRue MBT2S trigger. Don't waste money on anything else, unless you're going for true, adjustable, Match Grade trigger performance. It's a 2-stage trigger with 2.5lb first stage, 4.5lb second stage, and it's $87. If you need something lighter than that, then you need a Geissele Hi-Speed trigger, which comes with the springs (now) for Service weights, DMR weights, and National Match weights. <<< CAUTION - you have to set that adjustable trigger up, from the get go. To get into this, just get the LaRue trigger. https://www.larue.com/products/larue-tactical-mbt-2s-trigger/
  13. If you have parts-questions, just ask up. We can clear up anything that comes up, pretty quick. There are no bad or dumb questions. There are a$sholes out there, but that doesn't have anything to do with the information, just their presentation...
  14. That damn 10mm has claimed more target stands at 100 yards than any rifle ever has... I'm just sayin'...
  15. The PVC was a nightmare... It was ingenious, and maybe a little pricey - and it worked... Light, portable, easy to set up... We just didn't take into account the amount of lead that would find the target stand, instead of the target...
  16. Just hang that shiit off t-posts, some chain from the steel target, and 550 cord from the chain to the t-posts. That's the best thing that we've ever come up with here, for this place. Dirk is the one that came up with that one, after you fuckers shot every target stand/base that we tried to come up with ever, in the past... I swear, even the t-posts... Some of you guys can hit a one-inch wide t-post at 450 yards - but you can't hit the fucking 18"w x 32"t steel target...
  17. Your .260 Rem in 1:9 twist might work with 130s, but I think LMT is behind the times on that particular recommendation (130 and 1:9"). I don't think LMT really knows that much about the 6.5mm projectiles, and what they're capable of. That 1:9" will stabilize a hell of alot heavier load than that, and would do fine with the 147s that I shoot through a 1:10" twist. It would be really good for the new Hornady 153gr A-Tip projectile, in that 1:9" twist. On the 7.62, go with the 1:10 over the 1:11.25" twist. If you want to shoot 600 yards, the 168 is good. If you want to shoot 800 yards, the 168 give up too much to the 175s. I'm playing with 195s through a 1:10" twist right now, and they're doing very well. Skip the 1:11.25 twist completely. I'm running 225gr projectiles through my 16"-barreled 1:10" .338 Fed gas gun, and it's fine with those - excellent, actually. That twist will run a 185gr load well.
  18. That's my dream, right there. I shiit you guys not.
  19. I've got a Border Patrol guy that makes targets in his (house) shop in his spare time. He could pull that off, easy, brother.
  20. They have the "enhanced" receiver that takes the special setup, and they have the standard M5 stuff. The rail bolts to either one - it's the same rail. What you ORDER is what matters, because if you order the rail for the "enhanced" is doesn't come with a barrel nut - because the "enhanced" doesn't need one. It bolts directly to the upper receiver on the M5 Enhanced. What doesn't your upper look like? It's either "this" or "this", below... Enhanced: "regular" or "standard"
  21. You're fuckin' LOCAL then. We need to get out and smash some steel. I've got the steel, and the distance. You just need to drive, with guns. I'm about an hour away, if you drive like a snowbird...
  22. Not often. In fact, not ever, as far as I remember, and that's back to Jan 2010. We haven't been about that in the past, near future, past future...
  23. Full-On Straight Viking Shiit, right there. It wasn't Neil -but he probably trained them... Viking A$shole that he is...
  24. ^^^ That last pic is badass, brother. And it's the truth. I love that one, more than you know.
  25. If it wasn't good, I wouldn't have put it on my own gun. I'll never change it out. 15" Aero M5 rail on a 20" barrel. Perfect on this gun.
