  1. What if, what if... you can What If this all you want... They can't. And they won't. They aren't there to MAKE laws, they are there to interpret them. And Constitutional Law is their primary focus. The only determination they could make would be to abolish the NFA 1934, GCA 1968, and FOPA 1986, based on them being unconstitutional. They cannot add to any of those acts. In any way. They cannot take away anyone's ability to own a suppressor, or modify the process (law) required to own a suppressor. Or SBR, SBS, AOW, Title II...
  2. You know what I just noticed about this PSA link that you provided in the first post? How wrong they are, from a LEGAL standpoint. They just can't get it right... https://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-gen2-pa10-12-carbine-length-308-win-1-10-stainless-steel-10-lightweight-m-lok-upper-with-bcg-and-ch.html?avad=18199_f161ac071&utm_source=Avantlink&utm_medium=Referral&utm_campaign=ale You advertise something with a barrel less than 16" on a rifle, less than 18" on a shotgun, then you MUST INCLUDE the statement "ALL NFA RULES APPLY" in your advertisement or publication of that article, ad, or posting... THAT is the warning to the consumer, and it's mandated... They just posted a 12.5" barreled upper, and they DID NOT NOTIFY THEIR CUSTOMERS that "All NFA Rules Apply" in that posting... You have to be kidding me... They can't possibly be that stupid... And yet, that just happened... I hope Josiah is still reading this board, and fixes that - before they fuk over customers that don't know better, and were not warned... PSA = Creating Felons nationwide...
  3. I have a couple of those hats - they rock.
  4. No way in hell - not even legal, in any aspect. If you buy that 12.5" upper, and mate it to that lower receiver (with a buttstock), then you just created an illegal Short Barreled Rifle... No, you cannot not add a pistol brace to that lower. There's an ATF law that states "once a pistol, always a pistol, once a rifle, always a rifle." That lower receiver was manufactured, and transferred to the FFL, as a complete rifle lower receiver. Period. Full Stop. Zero changing that, ever. That's what it is. Because it was manufactured with a buttstock, and it was manufactured and registered by PSA ,with the ATF, when they made it. That serial number is a registered gun - a rifle. You ever add an upper that has a barrel length less than 16" to that, even pin it together in your house to see what it looks like, and in the eyes of the ATF, "you created an illegal Short Barreled Rifle." That is the law. You need to start with a fresh lower receiver, and assemble it as a "pistol" as it's first configuration, ever. There is go getting around that. You're betting your entire life on getting caught, and if you're caught, you will be a convicted felon. Consider that -no more gun ownership for the rest of your life... It's not worth it...
  5. Does your lower have a buttstock already? Post a pic of your lower.
  6. That bitch can EXPLODE some bank-teller glass, though... It's on-par with the 45-70 in that regard...
  7. Don't buy that PSA 12.5" upper, no matter what kind of good deal it looks like, unless you want to invest some time in it and make it right. The track record is already there on small gas ports, wrong gas tubes, weak recoil systems, in their .308AR platforms, most prominently in the 18" midlength gas setups they sell. They can't get the recoil system right on a carbine recoil system, no matter how many iterations they've thrown at it. If you're willing to put in the work, drill up the gas port, change out the gas tube to a proper-length (as you can get) gas tube, and make a recoil system that will work on a short-barreled .308 - then get it. If you're not going to do that - then just piece your own together from known, reputable parts. There it is. My $0.02...
  8. You want me to be brutally honest here?
  9. Shooting that .458 is like someone chopping you right in the shoulder with an axe, that was intentionally dulled - it doesn't cut you, and leave blood, but it just shreds muscles... Every time you pull the trigger... "HIT ME WITH THE AXE BLADE AGAIN!!!... " Fucker...
  10. ^^^ See what I'm talking about?!... This is these two bastards, right here:
  11. You know he's coming back like this at the end of summer, right?... There will be lemonade in the beer bottle, but I'll put a stick-on beard on him... The smoke grenade will be real...
  12. Both those kids ROCK... I'm down with the challenge. Day 1, .22LR... Day 2, we get that transmission done... Day 3, we learn how to spit like a man, and how to whistle loudly, without putting fingers in your mouth - men do that, so let's start now, youngin'... Day 4 is to be determined, right now, but it might include tannerite, pumpkins, and a stuffed martian doll...
  13. He cautions you, too, when he says, "Hey! I want you to try THESE out!.." Then he says, "They're a little warm..." My ass, they're "warm..." Fuckin' Wrist-Killers is what they are... Doesn't matter HOW tight you hang onto that gun. I lump those bastards into the same category as his 300 WSM loads out of that lightass bolt gun he's got... He's a sadist, just like Roman... Yeah, Roman... Who the fuk puts a Shockwave Blade brace on a shortass .458 SOCOM pistol build?!... Roman does, so he can see the pain when people shoot it... Jackasses, I tell ya, both of them...
  14. Those fuckers SUCK in a pistol, and hurt like a MFer... You go 40 yards to pick up brass. Hell, if you stand in front of a 10x10 canopy and shoot them, the brass will CLEAR that canopy... and go another 30-ish yards... I wanna see someone with the balls to shoot those through a 16" 10mm PCC... that fucker would blow up...
  15. I pulled this from our brothers at Full30.com. This is an excellent read, and it states exactly what failed. These failures cannot be argued, they are facts. https://slowfacts.wordpress.com/2019/06/11/the-failure-of-gun-control-in-virginia-beach/ Here's the Full30.com link to it: https://forum.full30.com/t/the-failure-of-gun-control-in-virginia-beach/11387
  16. Here's a very good opinion article on exactly what I'm saying: https://gatdaily.com/trump-on-silencer-ban-im-going-to-seriously-look-at-it/?trk_msg=HG0BQJ1153QKN4QPUIQ0467BL4&trk_contact=8V0L65B89JG3CKL2PPP2IG35AC&trk_module=new&trk_sid=INI07QT7C8M3L2D7BB03ML3KQG Here's the opening comments from that article, and it only gets better the further you go...
  17. ^^^ What he said. Here's my details on the recent red dot testing on the 13.5" gun, at 100, 200, 300 and 400 yards:

    Grilling

I'd hate to admit that I'd make a trip for food - but I'm a food whore...

    Grilling

I have to try to make some of that myself - or fly up to your butcher...
  20. Supreme Court? They CANNOT strike down NFA 1934. Only Congress can do that. The Supreme Court cannot.
  21. @DNP, you cut any air holes in the box when you packed him up? Install a water bowl in there? He can't show up dehydrated - we're rebuilding a transmission at the end of the week, and he needs to be on his game...
  22. ^^^ I absolutely love what we're discovering/figuring out with the PCCs now. My Oly Arms AR45 always ran, with an H3 buffer, but double-tapped once in awhile if you were lazy on the trigger. Freaked me out - turns out it was bolt speed, even from a fat slow subsonic 230gr .45ACP round... But this is blowback operation... My AR9 never ran for shiit, until I got a WAY heavier-than-H3 buffer and put in a strongass spring. I was at a point one time that I was gonna put that fukker through the bandsaw, because of what it had cost me over time... .40 Cal is a MFer to figure out, but I think we've cracked it... Now who's the first brave bastard to make a 10mm?...
  23. It's fine. I have one that's 13.5", and I just tested it out to 400 yards, with a red dot, a couple weeks ago. @jtallen83 has a couple 12.5" .308s, @Rsquared has a 12.5" .308 SBR. They're out there and they run when built right. <<< I'll just leave that bolded text right there...
  24. I keep saying it, and it keeps being ignored - they cannot do that without Congressional action, as it's already been determined, and there is law on it that's almost 100 years old.
