  1. Since he went Crusty, we need to get some Huevos 5 in there, too, brother, Colorado Project... KE - Fixation on the Darkness... Might as well throw down something WAY different, and get some Jurrasic 5 in here, too, from Huevos 11... Skip to 1:06:38 for the Bomb Shelter session, and Jurrasic 5. Yard Sale at 1:03:30 is worth watching, too - it's badass...
  2. That's a screamin' deal on that...
  3. Ministry live will blow you away. Saw those fuckers in '93 with Anthrax. Damn, what a show. OTEP crushed this one:
  4. Nice to see it come back to the school system. 'Bout time.
  5. HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!!!!!
  6. Just to keep all the receiver extension info in one searchable place, in addition to the one above, these are also known, proven, receiver extensions from reputable manufacturers. Internal depth of these extensions is 7 5/8". 1. Armalite AR-10 Carbine Receiver extension, Armalite Part number: 10207025 (The entire receiver extension kit from Armalite is Part number: AR10REKIT01,and it's much cheaper than sourcing the parts individually) 2. VLTOR Part number: RE-PA5, which is a pistol receiver extension - would be used on the short-barreled Big AR Pistol you intend to build... 3. VLTOR Part number RE-10/A5SR, which is a 6-position Carbine receiver extension. 4. VLTOR Part number RE-A5, which is a 7-position Carbine receiver extension. 5. Magpul® Enhanced Receiver Extension – SR25/M110, which is a 10-position Carbine receiver extension. 6. BCM Intermediate Receiver Extension (A5 Buffer Tube). Everything in this thread right now, to this point (with Rob's extension in the first post) are all verified at 7 5/8" internal depth, and all will operate in place of the Armalite AR-10 Carbine Receiver Extension on a .308AR, or interchange into the VLTOR A5 System for small-frame ARs (this is almost all I run on the Grendels).
  7. I like the profile pic, brother - looks just like you... I need to get you down here to shoot, man...
  8. Brace yourselves...
  9. No shiit. Greg would have to back himself down from a dozen eggs for breakfast, to only 3... Fucking Savage, I'm telling you...
  10. Here's the loadout on it, Aguila MiniShells. Slug Slug Buck Buck Buck Buck Buck Buck Buck... Holds 9 of them in the Slug and Buck variety. If it was the Bird shells, you get another one in the tube... I told you guys this would go down...
  11. It would come out looking like fucking folded Origami, too...
  12. That jackass would say it's too heavy, and that he could get it sub-4lbs...
  13. That's what I was afraid of...
  14. Oh HELL NO that just didn't happen...
  15. Here's the loadout: Slug Slug Buck Buck Buck Buck Buck Buck Buck... Mossberg Nightstick.
  16. Merle 308 contacted me today about a spec that I can't get right now. Anybody have the diameter of a stripped 308 upper, at the threads? Not inside the threads, flat part of caliper on the threads... I need someone to measure this. I don't have any stripped 308 uppers right now, and it would suck to take a gun apart. I need this diameter:
  17. I want a weekday off work, sometime soon. I'll wait for the FedEx guy or whatever to make his rounds, and I'll stick a box out on my front porch... Then, I'll get some full gear on. Plate carrier, MAV, sling the 14.5 gun, and just wait inside... When they come up to snatch my empty box that I placed as bait, I'll just open the door and walk out there... I'll have the GoPro rigged for this, of course...
  18. You probably don't have to worry about the Porch Pirates...
  19. They developed the 6.8 SPC for SOF... in the first place...
  20. I can now confirm that the We The People IWB Glock 19 holster will fit the P80 compact frames. You can pick a bunch of colors or patterns - I picked the Constitution pattern for this one. https://wethepeopleholsters.com/collections/glock-iwb-kydex-holsters/products/glock-19-23-32-iwb-kydex-holster?variant=13512077344866
  21. Damn...
  22. It will work really well with 175gr projectiles. That twist is magic for those - it's actually 1:11.25" twist.
  23. Depends on the expected environment. IWB Appendix for the XDs45 3.3 in a We The People kydex holster, 4" 1911 in a Mernickle Holsters PS6 Hi-Ride holster, XD45 LEO gun (Full size XD with a thumb safety) in the Mernickle Holsters PS6 Hi-Ride, Glock in an Uncle Mikes Tactical OWB holster... Just received a new We The People IWB kydex holster today, for the Glock 19 series. Where I'm going and what I expect to see/encounter determines the gun that goes with me. The clothes I'm wearing determine how I need to dress to hide the gun that goes with me that day. It's all a variance that needs to be dealt with daily, or by activity. There's no "one perfect gun" for every occasion, and there's lots to consider for carrying that specific gun, that day, to/for that activity... P.S. There's always a rifle nearby, no matter where I am. I carry enough pistol ammo to get to the rifle.
  24. Since I started building Grendels, the Toolcraft BCGs are my go-to BCGs. For everything.
  25. Gas system and recoil system are completely independent of each other. One doesn't care about the other - as long as both are up to spec, and work.
