  1. This is a Shib upper, so I know that gas port is probably 0.100". I'd wait for him to chime in on his BLK pistol, and it's lower config. See what he's running, buffer wise...
  2. So, what was the interference? What, on that bolt release hit what, on that trigger? Why was there a problem with the fitting...
  3. The MagPul PTS line is the stuff that MagPul has licensed to airsoft builders... One, or a few companies, are allowed to make it for the airsofters. It doesn't hold up well on real firearms. FleaBay is LOADED with that schit, and many sellers don't really get into details that it's the PTS line of stuff, and try to pass it off as the real deal. One of the primary reasons I lose my schit when I see people buying real-gun parts from FleaBay...
  4. Damn! That 30-06 is gettin' it done! The Bushy is doing well, too - good looking rifle, man. <thumbsup>
  5. Something going on with that cam pin in the bolt carrier itself - the actual carrier?
  6. You're smart enough to figure it out. <thumbsup>
  7. You burned your first post to bring up an old topic - whatever works. Welcome aboard - please stay away from the old topics. If you feel the need to hit the oldies, just start a new thread and link that old stuff. <thumbsup>
  8. No you stealth bastard - you threw that all down with PMs... I had to get in there and read between the lines... <lmao>
  9. The "Loc-Tite on the barrel extension" trick is something that comes from the benchrest bolt-gun bed-your-action crowd. The thought behind it is that if you Loc-Tite your barrel extension to your upper receiver, you've then "bedded it," like bedding a bolt gun. Not the same. Never seen any proof that it works. Never wanna take one apart that has had that schit done to it.
  10. Where did you get that rear sight? Sounds like the threading for windage adjustment is stripped, or the aperature is stripped. You turn, nothing happens. This isn't a MagPul PTS rear sight, by chance, is it? Hence, the reason I ask where you got it...
  11. ^^^ I knew that information was gonna come in handy. <thumbsup>
  12. The bottom of the ram is rounded, so there's less friction on it. The flat side always goes up. This is more pronounced on the large-primer ram, over the small-primer ram - watch the small-primer ram closely when you're putting things together to prime. <thumbsup>
  13. I'm pretty sure he's talking about the ambi bolt catch/bolt release - which makes sense. I see why it would have to come out, now. Bolt release/bolt catch on the right side of the receiver:
  14. Wow! Target foreground and background? That one didn't look like much of a consideration! Hate to say, I wasn't there, didn't see what they saw, didn't have their line of sight. But damn!
  15. Yep, been doing a bunch of that parts replacement. Clutch sensor, too. That's the 3rd recall.
  16. This is on the MagPul metal sight - the Pro?
  17. Does that DPMS upper work with the POF lower?
  18. I saw what you picked up, Ron - good deal. Even helped out a fellow forum member. Excellent stuff, my brother. <thumbsup>
  19. Uuummmm.... Are you saying you were using inferior equipment from the beginning?.... Inquiring minds want to know... <lmao>
  20. Sir, you are a gentleman and a scholar. I commend you on your honor alone, as so many just simply bitch once they find out about The Rule. You deserve accolades simply based on your moral merits. <thumbsup>
  21. Matt, I'm still not gonna give him the information I know for another 4~5 years. That's just the way I'm gonna work with this guy... <dontknow>
  22. ^^^ There it is. The answer. <thumbsup>
  23. Did I ever tell you that I wouldn't hesitate to beat a motherfucker to death with my DD rail?
  24. Deer are dangerous, and evil beasts. I feel no mercy towards them.
  25. Powered by the GM 2.4L EcoTech engine... The front half of this thing really is a car. Back half is belt-drive motorcycle with a single-sided swingarm...
