Borrowed an idea from NF1E and picked up one of these cheek risers from TNVC. A great product! Aligns my eye perfectly with the scope. Can't wait to shoot with it next week.

Like the M14E2 stock you got there. Remember as a kid reading the article in American Rifleman about the military adopting that for their SAW’s. I must have been all of 12 years old!

Thanks. I have enjoyed putting as many variations of the M14 together as I can. At least the ones that appealed to me. There are a few that just didn't cut the mustard.

A very impressive collection.

That blue one would go nicely in a scabbard mounted on Tom's Jeep...

I use the blue to quickly identify my 6.5 Creedmoor M14s. That set up is pretty heavy at 20# but I shoot prone so the weight is not a problem. Whatta Hobby!

Got to admit if someone said they were going to do their M1 in blue, I'd be skeptical but damn that darker blue with black combo is is a sexy rifle.

It is also a 1/2 moa shooter with Hornady 6.5 Creedmoor 140 gn commercial ammo.  Whatta Hobby!

But..but...i see selector switches.

Those are simply faux kits made by my friend Hawk from USGI parts. The connect to the stock and just appear like the real deal. Best way , in my opinion, to fill the cut out in a USGI M-14 stock. Whatta Hobby!
