98Z5V Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 (edited) 1. Treat every firearm as if it's loaded. 2. Never point a firearm at anything you are not willing to destroy. 3. Always be sure of your target, and your target foreground and background. 4. Keep your finger off the trigger until you are on target and ready to fire. All they say they know for sure is that Tiffany — perhaps nervous due to a series of break-ins in the area recently — pulled out a gun and fired one round sight unseen, through her closed bedroom door. “She woke up. She armed herself and she fired a shot through her bedroom door hitting her husband in the chest,” Kincaide recounted. That woman fucked up #3 and #4. Edited January 11, 2015 by 98Z5V

survivalshop Posted January 12, 2015 Report Posted January 12, 2015 The comment in the story " a house he shares with his wife " is a strange one .
392heminut Posted January 12, 2015 Report Posted January 12, 2015 The comment in the story " a house he shares with his wife " is a strange one . I wouldn't put too much emphasis on that, it's 'reporter speak'.
Microgunner Posted January 12, 2015 Report Posted January 12, 2015 Now the poor bastard's gonna go into a cold sweat whenever he sees an egg mcmuffin. Messed up.
sketch Posted January 13, 2015 Report Posted January 13, 2015 (edited) Did I read she set an alarm? He must know how to bipass it without her knowing? Or didn't shut it off.. Edited January 13, 2015 by sketch
DNP Posted January 13, 2015 Report Posted January 13, 2015 (edited) Two ways to set alarms...."I'm gone" mode, which has a delay. Usually mild beeping for 30-45 seconds to give you time to disarm. Then there's the "I'm home" mode which immediately jumps into full blown alarm when triggered. This is likely what she was set on. My question is, where is the panel located? The one I use most frequently in my house is in my bedroom, so if they are similar...he would be headed that way. Next question, did he announce himself? Or did he hit the door handle to the bedroom and BLAM!? Last question, did the boyfriend escape unnoticed? Edited January 13, 2015 by DNP
Rsquared Posted January 13, 2015 Report Posted January 13, 2015 Last question, did the boyfriend escape unnoticed? That's where my thinking was going on this one.
