survivalshop Posted February 11, 2015 Report Posted February 11, 2015 Nice , if I didn't go up to Ohio every December , I would forget what snow & cold felt like . <laughs>
mineralman55 Posted February 11, 2015 Report Posted February 11, 2015 Fake empathy for those freezing up north does not make up for the horrendous pics you posted in the "Girls With Guns" thread. You should be forced to freeze in the dark in a sleeping bag with one of those fat chicks. BTW, I thought glo-bull warming was occurring. How can this be?

Microgunner Posted February 11, 2015 Report Posted February 11, 2015 HaHa you think that pic was horrendous? I was holding back And we sincerely thank you for doing so .
shepp Posted February 11, 2015 Report Posted February 11, 2015 I have no simpothy for the east yes in the past two weeks they've been piss pounded, but the media tripping over each other to cover it is silly, here in the mid west we call that winter deal with it or gtfo
Zebra644 Posted February 11, 2015 Report Posted February 11, 2015 Nice , if I didn't go up to Ohio every December , I would forget what snow & cold felt like . <laughs> It's been warmer this winter not as much snow fall as the farmers predicted, however it just by chance that all the snow they have / are getting in New England could very well have dumped on us.
Microgunner Posted February 11, 2015 Report Posted February 11, 2015 Every winter I remember why I like living in Florida.
jtallen83 Posted February 12, 2015 Report Posted February 12, 2015 Lousy year to be TDY on Cape Cod.............at least snow removal is included in the rent.
edgecrusher Posted February 12, 2015 Report Posted February 12, 2015 Lol, welcome to New England bro! Come spring time we are still going to shoot right?
jtallen83 Posted February 14, 2015 Report Posted February 14, 2015 No offense but I'm hoping to be gone before it thaws here.......I've had my fill of Ptown, I had to ride the bus back from Boston last Sunday, there were more guys dressed like girls than there were girls dressed like girls. :limp-wrist: I don't want to be around when the skirts get short! I'm for sure not in Iowa anymore...there's no place like home.....there's no place like home.....there's no place like home.... <dontknow> should've asked the guy to borrow his ruby slippers....... If I'm still here when the weather breaks I'll be glad to sling some lead! :auto:
edgecrusher Posted February 14, 2015 Report Posted February 14, 2015 Hah, yeah, that place is a freak show!
unforgiven Posted February 14, 2015 Report Posted February 14, 2015 Working back outside on the new Rehabilitation Center of Chicago right off the lake.27 stories the open decks are brutal.Got a bottle of water with me and it keeps frezzing up make a good slushy.2 more winters. At least you don't have to shovel heat.
Sharkey Posted February 14, 2015 Report Posted February 14, 2015 I've never minded the snow so much. Every year seems different anyway. Sometimes we get over pretty good, others it seems like we are digging out every other day. It's nice this time since my wife had her back surgery and isn't driving at all for a few more weeks so there's one less worry but now my Father went in last night and will probably be there till Monday. Got some "unexplained" bleeding going on so they are trying to sort it out. The good thing about getting snow this weekend is that I'll get to sit with him pretty much all alone tomorrow since I'm sure no one else will be making the trip. My and my Dodge Hemi 4x4 with AT tires couldn't give a crap less about the snow...lol My father has been a fire chief for 51 years this year so he and I sitting alone for even 5 minutes is a rarity since I usually just visit him at the station so being at the hospital with him for a couple of hours will be kind of a treat even though it's not a "happy occasion" to be there.
unforgiven Posted February 14, 2015 Report Posted February 14, 2015 Hope you'r wife get better soon brother Sharkey.
392heminut Posted February 15, 2015 Report Posted February 15, 2015 I remember some of the stuff you posted about your dad Sharkey. He is one tough cookie and will blow this stuff off. Glad you get to spend some time with him! Hope the surgery works really well for your wife, that stuff can be kind of iffy! <thumbsup>
