Could float home some times , I hate getting caught in that crap , but when you ride to work every day , hard to avoid . I had more problems fogging my glasses then the rain. You forgot...put on the rain suit and it stops raining, turning the suit into a personal sauna. Rode in rain quite a bit, because we really love it here. Got caught in a microburst once and was soaked through to the bone in about 15 seconds.
shepp Posted February 24, 2015 Report Posted February 24, 2015 The thing about riding in the rain is you can only get so wet. 7-8 years ago I did a spring ride with some friends called the slimmy crud run its the first weekend in May and notorious for shiit weather, we hit rain sleet and snow that day nothing some leather, and a few shots of Jäger didn't cure
planeflyer21 Posted February 24, 2015 Author Report Posted February 24, 2015 My buddy and his wife headed back from Show Low last summer, ended up going through 7 different thunderstorms...the last one 20 minutes from home. He's pretty much a Lone Wolf riding now. <laughs>
