Shwell

Recommended Posts

Good evening folks. The name is Ancel, but I am known more in the Industry as Shwell. I am a Retired USAF Air Traffic Controller/ Financial Services and I am addicted to building and shooting guns.

I have been building AR's for a little over 2 years now, but shooting for over 2 Decades. Firearms consumes my Day to Day lifestyle. I create content on Youtube (Shwell11) and also do ad work for a few Publications.

I enjoy having fun. That has been my focus since I retired at the age of 30 (Brain Tumor)..

Just this week decide it was time to try something different, without getting too extreme. Have an Aero-Precision Receiver set and a few items already in hand for my first .308 Build.  Found this website via a Google search, and have been scanning it for the past few hours collecting information.

Thanks for the great resource, and hopefully i can contribute.

Welcome from GA. Love the avatar. My buddies and I still quote that to this day! Well, that, and "Food's still warm." I joined the forum just a few weeks before you. There really is an enormous amount of information here. This is my first build. I guess I won't know if I'm being led in the right direction until I finish and see if it fires! Honestly though, everyone here is always willing to give their opinions and share their own experiences. Good luck on the build.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I am in the process of test fitting a lot of the parts for my first .308 build. Not sure where I should post a thread with pics and details of the build..

Still need to buy a BCG for it.. And decide which of my triggers to install in it (All Geissele)..
