survivalshop Posted April 1, 2015 Report Posted April 1, 2015 (edited) This photo was taken this morning & the stare off went on for a half hour , before the Lizard slowly backed up into my Hot Tub in between the insulation panel & the outer wood like cover . The Snake ( Black Racer ) then started to use flicker its tongue , for the first time , like he know the sent was there , but couldn't find him . The Snake finally moved off , plenty more Lizards around for the Snake to fatten up on . Edited April 1, 2015 by survivalshop
survivalshop Posted April 2, 2015 Author Report Posted April 2, 2015 The way I look at it , the Lizards help keep the bug problem down & the Snakes keep the Lizard population down , they are both helping me . Now the Bad Snakes are killed with extreme prejudice , I have lakes & woods & streams behind my house , I kill several poisonous snakes a year . I haven't seen an Alligator in the back yard for a couple of years .
sketch Posted April 2, 2015 Report Posted April 2, 2015 No really is it play hide the snake or hide the lizard while skinny dippin in the wild :)
Rsquared Posted April 3, 2015 Report Posted April 3, 2015 Once again. Kill em both.....just because. Buy some ortho for the insects.
survivalshop Posted April 3, 2015 Author Report Posted April 3, 2015 (edited) Once again. Kill em both.....just because. Buy some ortho for the insects. You would have to put a blanket of that crap around my house & it still wouldn't stop the bugs down here ! That much would probably kill my dogs , then us & the bugs would take over my home . <lmao> Edited April 3, 2015 by survivalshop

98Z5V Posted April 5, 2015 Report Posted April 5, 2015 I posted this one some time back. Snake vs. Snake. The Red Racer vs. The Rattlesnake. Someone got eaten. Crazy $hit happens here in the desert.
ChaseFan9 Posted April 5, 2015 Report Posted April 5, 2015 Dude, don't kill black snakes, rat snakes, black racers, or whatever you want to call them. Relocate it if you have to, but you want him to get about 4-5 ft long so he'll start eating all your rattlesnakes (or at least killing them). Rattlesnake venom won't hurt a black snake. Hell, I've seen a 5 ft Eastern Diamondback get killed in a faceoff with a 6 ft black snake (about, I was too amazed to catch it) back when I was growing up. Then again, we had 12 ft Indigos out there, too... Point is, as long as he doesn't get in your house, he'll keep rats, wolf spiders (my least favorite), and poisonous snakes away, as well as several other species. They WILL eat your rabbits and chickens, though, and you don't want little kids playing with a bigazz snake, so use your best judgement.
suzukiray Posted April 5, 2015 Report Posted April 5, 2015 Tom, check your email for the picture of the Eastern diamondback I just sent you & post that bitch here!!! Ray.
98Z5V Posted April 6, 2015 Report Posted April 6, 2015 Fuk that snake. That thing needs the giant dude from Last of the Mohicans killing it with that warclub-from-hell. *** For those that don't know, Ray has ALWAYS had issues posting pics... <lmao>
98Z5V Posted April 6, 2015 Report Posted April 6, 2015 Damn you have to mount that bioch !! You mean "hump it" or take it to a taxidermist?!... <lmao> :yup:

Malig8r Posted April 6, 2015 Report Posted April 6, 2015 That snake would be good eating right there. Plenty for everyone. He's a big one!
shepp Posted April 7, 2015 Report Posted April 7, 2015 Is that thing a python/rattler high bred?!?!?!
Rsquared Posted April 15, 2015 Report Posted April 15, 2015 Dead......that would be the proper answer.
