Hello from the wet side of Washington!

Pathfinder2041

Recommended Posts

I have been a long time proponent of the AR 10 and just made the plunge with a MK 216 from Primary Weapon Systems.

The rifle has been a joy to shoot so far, and my round count overall is approaching 500 rounds.

The rifle is intended for hunting in the fall, and I will be working up loads with 130 grain TTSX, 150 grain SST, and 145 grain Lehigh Defense Controled Chaos bullets.

So far I am able to get a hair over 1 MOA with the TTSX and I am still looking for an accuracy node for the SSTs.  SO far, TAC is the powder that I am using, but have Benchmark and CFE 223 just in case.

Handloading for accuracy is a great time killer and keeps me occupied!

Hello to the collective and be safe at the range!!

Welcome from AZ !

I use to live there.Don't miss the rain. Never saw a deer during hunting season just all the time the rest of the year.

What is the twist rate of your barrel ? I ask because you are shooting lighter weight projectiles.

Welcome aboard pathfinder!! I'm confused on the wet side? I'm on the pacific side and it's been close to 80' for weeks!

Unseasonably strange, for this time of year.  You should just be ending your "100-days-straight-of-rain" season about now...  <lmao>
