Pathfinder2041 Posted June 8, 2015 Report Posted June 8, 2015 I have been a long time proponent of the AR 10 and just made the plunge with a MK 216 from Primary Weapon Systems. The rifle has been a joy to shoot so far, and my round count overall is approaching 500 rounds. The rifle is intended for hunting in the fall, and I will be working up loads with 130 grain TTSX, 150 grain SST, and 145 grain Lehigh Defense Controled Chaos bullets. So far I am able to get a hair over 1 MOA with the TTSX and I am still looking for an accuracy node for the SSTs. SO far, TAC is the powder that I am using, but have Benchmark and CFE 223 just in case. Handloading for accuracy is a great time killer and keeps me occupied! FaRKle! Posted June 8, 2015 Report Posted June 8, 2015 Welcome, and sweet rifle! The newer forged receivers look nicer than my earlier revision's SI-D ones.Drop an H3 buffer in there for even better recoil reduction! BTW, I never have to run the gas block more open than position two on mine.
