Toolndie7 Posted July 28, 2015 Report Posted July 28, 2015 I think he didnt have enough ammo <dontknow> I think the lack of mental institutions in this country are really starting to show.
lasher Posted July 28, 2015 Report Posted July 28, 2015 what a stash! 6.5 tons of ammo,,,ultimate prepper
blue109 Posted July 28, 2015 Report Posted July 28, 2015 I think he should have moved to AZ and nobody wold have made a big deal about it.
shepp Posted July 28, 2015 Report Posted July 28, 2015 I think he should have moved to AZ and nobody wold have made a big deal about it. Right! Omg he owned multiple scopes?!?
planeflyer21 Posted July 28, 2015 Report Posted July 28, 2015 I think the lack of mental institutions in this country are really starting to show. Because the media is so stupid? I agree. Lock up all the reporters!
survivalshop Posted July 28, 2015 Report Posted July 28, 2015 So , he was a firearms collector & needed ammo , I don't see anything strange except he was a little brain dead at the end . I really don't see a story here . The stashed cars & trucks , maybe he didn't have room for them at his house or couldn't keep them there because of the stupid HOA . And lastly ,doesn't everyone want a car that they can use as a Submarine ? <dontknow>
98Z5V Posted July 28, 2015 Report Posted July 28, 2015 And lastly ,doesn't everyone want a car that they can use as a Submarine ? <dontknow> In reality, it was probably a Jeep or other small truck, with an intake snorkel. Those became popular around1999 or 2000.
blue109 Posted July 28, 2015 Report Posted July 28, 2015 If of had tons of money...there would certainly be some liberal outrage after my death when my stash was unearthed.
98Z5V Posted July 28, 2015 Report Posted July 28, 2015 (edited) Gun dealers are trying to get control of the estate, for the arms and ammunition. Count is now up to 1,500 firearms and 7 tons of ammo. http://www.guns.com/2015/07/25/gun-dealers-seek-impounded-collection-now-at-over-1500-guns/ I hope a relative is traced down. If not, you know the state will destroy all those firearms and ammunition. Edited July 28, 2015 by 98Z5V
ChaseFan9 Posted July 28, 2015 Author Report Posted July 28, 2015 I wish I could've met the guy. Whether they know it or not, this is the goal of every enabler here <lmao>
shepp Posted July 28, 2015 Report Posted July 28, 2015 In reality, it was probably a Jeep or other small truck, with an intake snorkel. Those became popular around1999 or 2000. That is EXACTLY what I thought of when I read that part of the story. Had this been any free state this wouldn't have been a story, and who hasn't told some broad they were a super spy to get laid wtf?!?
wetncold Posted July 28, 2015 Report Posted July 28, 2015 None of the guns that are left after the cops pick through them will be any good. They just throw them around and don't give a damn. Shame. I am checking my family ancestry!
survivalshop Posted July 28, 2015 Report Posted July 28, 2015 Does seem like they have no respect for the Hardware & I agree , that pile will get gone over by the PD & they will probably shoot the ammo . Don't say it doesn't happen Rob ! <laughs>
DNP Posted July 29, 2015 Report Posted July 29, 2015 Yeah...at least they appear to be treating the property with respect. Wow.
Robocop1051 Posted July 29, 2015 Report Posted July 29, 2015 Does seem like they have no respect for the Hardware & I agree , that pile will get gone over by the PD & they will probably shoot the ammo . Don't say it doesn't happen Rob ! <laughs> How do you think ammo is "destroyed"? Please don't think it's all burnt up like ordinary garbage.
slugger43 Posted July 29, 2015 Report Posted July 29, 2015 Whoever piled those weapons up like that should be kicked in the nuts until they are a permanent soprano. Reminds me of the assholes that ruined thousands of confiscated weapons after the New Orleans flooding. You can argue that the man didn't have enough ammo, but he sure as hell had enough to enable himself to get more........I'm just sayin'
ChaseFan9 Posted July 29, 2015 Author Report Posted July 29, 2015 It's too bad, I've got a feeling he would've fit in pretty well over here
Malig8r Posted July 29, 2015 Report Posted July 29, 2015 It's too bad, I've got a feeling he would've fit in pretty well over here Yup, I bet he would have. Now...how do we get our hands on all that ammo and as a collective group dispose of it at a get together????
ChaseFan9 Posted July 29, 2015 Author Report Posted July 29, 2015 We should see if Robo can make some phone calls and set us up another group buy....
Sisco Posted July 29, 2015 Report Posted July 29, 2015 In Texas they would have called him the next door neighbor. In Utah, moderately well prepared.
planeflyer21 Posted August 1, 2015 Report Posted August 1, 2015 This will fade away. He was working for the government alphabet agencies, an ambassador between earth and his home planet...according to his girlfriend: Perfect time for someone to swoop in and score that babe! Maybe treat her to some buffalo burgers with moon cheese.
