An Elcan for $600! I'd have been on that faster than Ron on a fat chick!

looks like it's still listed. I'd be your middle man if you were interested.

Elcan

My thoughts as well. Looks like a big pig-ish sight that doesn't really do anything special other than being durable. I usually volunteered for the SAW, but I got out before they got fancy optics added on.

Ahhhh.... I didn't know about that sight. I thought it was a Specter 1/4x for $600. I almost sold a kidney to some Russian guy... not saying it was MY kidney or just a "donor".

Let me guess, you got it from some guy that was hiding in your refrigerator!

In case you hadn't heard...Eotech is buying back sights at MSRP+shipping. An aimpoint comp M4 fell into my lap for an insane price a few days ago, and I have nothing to mount it on so I'm considering offing the eotech while the offing is good. hate to jump on the bbandwagon, but I can't pass up an upgrade.

Well, I did an elaborate series of horse trades but the bottom line was about $200 out of my pocket so I'm pretty happy with the deal. Thing must have been collecting dust for a long time because the batteries in the box expired in 2015. Still have nothing against eotech, but this thing is pretty sweet and as tough as it gets so I think I'm jumping ship if they send me an RMA. That cash can be used for some other upgrades

Got my RMA. Approved for MSRP + $15 on my 512. Asked me not to send it in the box to save on shipping space. have the aimpoint mounted up and I'll zero this weekend.

Refunds may take a while. Havnt read of anyone getting a check yet and some folks sent them out a month ago.

Really?!  Wow.  I may have to get one returned and buy a primary arms.

Go to service/repair part of eotech website. When you select your model, a new option appears for returning your sight. Asks you what you paid. Print off the page and pencil in the RMA when they approve you

I went and fill out the RMA for both of my Eotech's and got a resopnse for a refund. Will do it while I can.Hope they resolve thier issues 'cause i really liked thier products.

Glad to hear that Eotech is doing the right thing. Looks like it's going to cost them a pretty penny unfortunately. I've used them before but only own Aimpoints & Trijicons myself.

Yea,sadly I really liked thier products. The guy at tech support gave me a poor response when I asked him about the ranging points on the .308 model.Points went from 600 to 1,200 but without a variable magnifiier wasn't practical. He never gave me a response on the issues they are currently having.Hope they fix the problems,I might revisit the product line in the future.Might go with an Aimpoint for 5.56 and 1X4 or6 for .308.Which model Aimpoint would you recomend for 5.56 ? How about for absolute co-witness of back up sights brother ? Looked at the Isralies version but the reviews weren't glowing. This will be the only way to get my money back for what I have into these devices.

I guess that depends on your usage patterns. I like the T1 (NVG compatible) & H1. I think the T2 is overpriced. For the price point the Aimpoint Pro is great (own one and I really like it) although bigger & weighs almost twice as much as the others. I bought a Trijicon MRO and I'm really liking it, great price, great optic although I am still waiting for someone to make lens covers for it.
