You guys are all talking crap about winning this pistol, when the person that started the thread is apparently a pistol raffle winning ticket magnet. Just sayin'. Don't know anything about rumors in New Mexico, saying there's a 6 1/2ft tall chupacabra that eats all but one pistol raffle winner in the past 9 years.

I don't either, and it is in fact a helluva good cause. However, I reserve the right to razz the asses off everybody else and then to act surprised and chagrined if I don't actually win. I put quite a bit of money out of my pocket into this run anyway, and since I'm the prez of our New Mexico region I don't want the stigma of being the winner if I was to get lucky. I did buy my wife one ticket (yeah, I know, I'm all heart!) Nothing would make me happier than to see one of you guys on the forum win it though! Edited May 17, 2016 by 392heminut

392heminut Posted May 22, 2016 Author Report Posted May 22, 2016 Well, unfortunately no one from the forum won the pistol. It went to a nurse at our hospital who bought tickets from my wife. When my wife called her she was very excited and said her husband would be getting a nice birthday present in a couple of weeks. I can't thank you guys enough for all the support for this cause, you guys are like family to me and I've never been a member of a forum who's members are as tight as we are. As a group you guys were the biggest supporter of this raffle and I truly appreciate that! I can't tell you how disappointed I am that someone from the board didn't win but I am overwhelmed by your generosity!
