I left Tucson at 4pm for a dinner date in Tempe East Phoenix at 7pm.  It was 104° when I left Tucson with the sun up.  It was 104° after the sunset in Phoenix when I arrived.

My first morning home in six weeks, it was 64 when I left the airport in Pensacola Florida yesterday morning before sunrise. Had planned on a range trip first thing this morning but the wife needs the car and nobody else wants to go, bunch of wimps, -17 isn't that bad without a wind!

It's the same here, I gotta go out and plow  the drive way........... 30's by mid week, I'll take it!!

Cold as fuk ,working by the river. Was -17* on the ground my partner and I were 50' in the air in a boom lift and the wind was kickin real fukin good. Even with doubling up on the hand warmers the finger tips were cold. I use scuba gloves for putting on hardware and polar tech gloves for slinging and flagging the crane. Fuk winter. I'd rather be hot at least I can move around. Last winter outside, God help me.

Brother, Nothing colder than what you do. Be glad for you when you don't have to do that any more. Till then I will pray for warmer weather for you.

I thought I was cold walking my dog this morning.  But it was only +18*.  Even the wind chill wasn't as cold as your air temp.  I hope y'all can stay in and warm.

We are at 15 degrees now with a wind chill of 1 degree.

I think I am going to need a big bowl of chilli and a margarita!

Thanks guys your support warms my heart.  Then on top off all that this is a shutdown at a glass factory. They make what looks like whiskey bottles. So there is crushed glass and broken bottles on the ground [they recycle all the glass]. You actually walk on broken glass and it's clear glass. My mission and that of everyone else is not to fall and get shredded.

Rene, I got the spare room ready for ya brother. Cold beer on tap and lots of green chile stored up for some good cooking when you get here! The wives are gonna hit it off great too!

I have to admit the wife and I don't miss winters in Kingston MA at all. 71 in North Carolina at the moment.
