Robocop1051 Posted December 16, 2016 Report Posted December 16, 2016 Damn. It's either "stay inside, it's too cold" or it's "stay inside, it's too hot".
Robocop1051 Posted December 16, 2016 Report Posted December 16, 2016 No wonder you have so many kids.
shepp Posted December 16, 2016 Report Posted December 16, 2016 Damn heat wave right now!!! High of 0 on Sunday that's after the 6-9" of snow tonight and tomorrow
survivalshop Posted December 16, 2016 Report Posted December 16, 2016 I had to turn my A/C off last night , because the low got down in the 50"s , but will be back in the 80's on Saturday .
MikedaddyH Posted December 16, 2016 Report Posted December 16, 2016 I really feel for you guys. It was raining here in Phoenix last night when I got of work at midnight, the T-shirt and shorts I was wearing got wet.
jtallen83 Posted December 16, 2016 Report Posted December 16, 2016 I'm actually looking forward to getting back to Iowa for Christmas, -14 for my first night home, I will be on the range first thing in the morning to see how a couple builds handle it. This Florida weather is a bit too humid for my taste, but the wife is spending more time with me on this job than ever before. I am not sure if it is the weather or the three all nude strip clubs within a mile of my place
planeflyer21 Posted December 16, 2016 Report Posted December 16, 2016 My buddy sent me this about 4am his time today, back in New Hampshire: Berlin, NH
Sisco Posted December 16, 2016 Report Posted December 16, 2016 Glad you guys are enjoying some nice balmy weather. It was -8F at 3 am when I got up to stoke the wood boiler up the hill, and rekindle the fire in the fireplace. 12 inches of snow projected for today. A picture of the big lake the other day. It is lake effect snow season. Haven't decided if it is long underwear time yet.

I had a call the wed -15* windchill, just training for ice fishing.

When everyone was complaining about the cold a couple of winters back, some really, REALLY old lady provided a photo of her teaching ice skating out doors, at like -50°F. Her attitude was "Suck it up crybabies!"

He's like why because they got a 30 second walk from their car to a building?!? Try doing that for three hours?! Lol. Id rather work in the cold than the heat tho.
blue109 Posted December 16, 2016 Report Posted December 16, 2016 I had to put on a sweater this morning and I'm pissed. Screw winter!

Sisco Posted December 16, 2016 Report Posted December 16, 2016 Coldest place in the winter is a city. Out here, our buildings and people are used to it. Get in the woods and out of the wind and it is not that bad down to -20F. In the city outside, you can't get away from the wind, and those big buildings just channel it. Coldest place there is.

Lololol

Yeah my statement is a bit too all encompassing. More like: If it's cold, it;s gonna feel colder in the city, if it's hot it's gonna feel hotter in the city.
