Cunuckgaucho
Seems to be the answer for the guy that only want one rifle...with this one purchase you get a hunting rifle,a cowboy gun and tacticool gun all in one single convenient package. I wonder if it's California compliant?

ARTrooper
no good, no free floating rail system... yet!
COBrien
I still don't understand this concept of "AR-ifying" everything. See, for example... Mossberg 464 SPX: Mini-14 SCAR stock: And, to a lesser extent, the Stoeger Double Defense: Because everyone knows Tier 1 operators prefer lever actions and side by side shotguns over semi-automatics. And they would definitely run a Mini-14 over an AR platform. And they only run the best -- like Mossberg, Ruger, and Stoeger.
98Z5V
I added a rail capability to my 45-70 lever gun and the M1 Carbine, just so I could mount a mini red dot to them. They look like this (because I can't find pics of them right now):

I say that because that's essentially what they're doing -- adding AR-pattern parts (albeit aftermarket/modern/"tactical" parts) to non-AR-pattern weapons. Maybe "M4-ifying" would be more accurate. I added an UltiMAK rail to my Mini-14 to run scout optics with (was going to buy a Burris 2-7x32 Scout scope, then I bought my first AR... Guess where all my disposable money is going now...). I don't have a problem with adding rails to "conventional" firearms, but I fail to see the benefit of tactical pistol grips, collapsible buttstocks, etc. on EVER'DAMNTHING. planeflyer21
The real question is: why did someone feel the need to M1 Carbinize the AR?
unforgiven
Why do you do it ?? Because you can. I'm a big fan of handguard grips.

planeflyer21
You have to remember another thing too: Tier 1 operators operate what some pencil pusher says they are going to operate. Tier 1 may have input but it boils down to who's politically connected to the pencil.
