308kiwi Posted March 30, 2018 Report Posted March 30, 2018 My 'Easter Friday' project, made a couple of fold away rifle racks for my local shooting club.
Armed Eye Doc Posted March 30, 2018 Report Posted March 30, 2018 Do you have a build sheet with parts and dimensions? They look great.
392heminut Posted March 31, 2018 Report Posted March 31, 2018 Damn, we could use one or two of those at the desert shoots!

The central dowel is fixed to the outer legs so as you fold the legs out the 'rack' self levels and remains fixed horizontal. Sorry guys I don't have a build sheet or plans to offer, I imagined what I wanted and went to the local hardware store and bought the timber, I don't 'do' woodwork but they turned out pretty well considering, hopefully the vandals at the club won't wreck them and they'll last a few years.
bubbas4570 Posted April 1, 2018 Report Posted April 1, 2018 Looks like some 1x4's, handrail or closet rod for the center rod, and 1/2" (or slightly larger) for the divider rods. The rest is easy. And don't forget the small back piece for the buttock backrest on the bases.
