Piqued my interest as a young teen in the history of aviation. Saw a 2000 something interview with Yeager talking about the sound barrier record, said it was just one of like 10 different test flight projects he was working on at the time. I met him at a fundraiser for Duncan Hunter Sr. Got to meet a couple of cool guys through those. I’ll have to see if I can find it. Might still be with my dad.
