Was directed to this site by a current member and look forward to learning more about the AR15's big brother.  Thank you to Albroswift for the direction!

I am building an Aero M5 based rifle.

Magpul UBR Gen2 stock

CMC single state drop in FCG

Midwest Industries Combat Rifle Sight set

Planning on Vortex Crossfire II 4-16x50 Optic with BDC reticle in QR mount and Magpul bipod.

I have built a few AR15s, but this is the first time building a big bore AR.  Looking forward to finding good information.

Welcome aboard, man - any friend of Albo's is a friend of ours. :hail:

You mentioned UBR Gen 2 stock.  Buy an AR15 Carbine H3 buffer for that thing.  Very first.  Not an H2, not an H1, the H3 AR15 Carbine buffer, 5.4oz.  You'll need either the Armalite EA-1095 recoil spring or the Sprinco Red recoil spring for it.  Those two items, combined with the stock you're running, will bullet-proof your recoil system.  For good.

After that, we move on.  Welcome here.
