If the snow hits I'm gonna get a room by the job so i don't miss time.Last year was one of my best,but I beat myself up in the process.

Mida got " Pepper palace" Sweet Bourbon Glaze" she like her's wet I like the rub.The one you turned me onto brother is the bestus since asbestos.

Yep...dont get yourself beat up... take care of yourself...thats what counts!     your ribs oughta be looking  good....that bourbon glaze sounds pretty good...I go both ways....dry and wet            Wash

So its 73 degrees...crazy weather.. time to smoke a rack of babybacks...of course I wasnt the one to pick out the meat after my epic fail last time.    The pic doesnt do justice to the taste...redemption from the epic rib fail ........ Wash

It was 50* today I shoulda grilled but I had been planing this and the gator had been in the freezer awhile and I wanted to get it used

alligator gumbo, with fresh shrimp and crab along with some andoullio sausage I picked up from a local smoke house. Did it all from scratch, sounded a lot harder than it was, turned out amazing.

hell yea it was I shut the heat off and opened a few Windows lol. 

Gumbo turned out awesome something kinda gross tho. last night when I was making rice for my I found a moth in the rice picked it out ok what ever.........go to make some more tonight saw something funny started sifting thru it..........full of grubs

Gumbo turned out awesome something kinda gross tho. last night when I was making rice for my I found a moth in the rice picked it out ok what ever.........go to make some more tonight saw something funny started sifting thru it..........full of grubs

Shepp    seen that moth deal at my ex motherinlaws pantry back in the 80's.....crap...they will be everywhere....start throwing your rice/grains and cereals away

they can multiply like real fast!      Wash

9lb bone in. 13.5hours set @ 225 (which meant 225-275 traeger temp) Pecan Pellets. 7 hours of Oak Ridge "game changer" brine...need to do 12 or more next time as recommended. Rubbed with a 4:1 mix of Oak Ridge "secret weapon" and "dominator sweet rib". Tasty.  Got a little bit of ring to it-the brine definitely helps in that area.
