I landed a job interview for industrial maintenance mechanic at Tesla Motors in Fremont, Ca. this morning. Got to be interviewed by 4 different mgrs. individually.

I got to tour a lot of the plant where they build the new Tesla Model S. It is beautiful and packs a lot of performance.

But I had a great feeling walking out of there. I the attitude that there was no f'ing way I was not going to get this job. I think I pulled it off well and will know next week. I hope so, tesla is the one place I want to be.

:) hey thanks guys for the support!! You what I was so excited for this last night I could not sleep. No I didn't sleep a wink. But I was able to shrug that off and it might have even helped me somehow. I was fired up and felt real good when I got there. It lasted almost 4 hours. I called my wife, cried, and collapsed on my bed awhile after I got home. Just woke up  <laughs>  <thumbsup>

Good luck I hope you get it, I had a job in a plant where we made coat hangers, industrial wire, and some related paper products, had it just over 10 years and got shut down due to poor management/chinese labor costs. Anyway I am a machinist and we built new machinery, maintained, rebuilt, modified and made replacement parts as well as helping with breakdowns, we had a good crew in the machine shop and a good maintenance dept., we got along well, it was by far the best job I ever had. We were always doing something different and learning something new, never got bored. I got laid off oct. 3rd. 2003 and have missed that job every day since.
