While I appreciate yall trying to help me spend money think I better wait till the budget is better. I am also in the process of getting a 40ft container for a shop and storage.

I support ya no matter what, brother. When it comes time to mod that Jeep - don't pay a shop. Buy the parts - head MY way for a "vacation," and we'll handle it. I expect no payment - just the time to hang out... Sheit, I'll even cook for you while you're here... and I'll buy the food!... :lmao:

Its all good. I do have tools, jacks, jackstands and have been known to swap motors in bikes and trucks. Had to drill frame rails to put the trailer hitch on the Renegade.

A lift and taller tires would be nice just not in the budget YET.

My inner mad scientist wanted to go 460 Rowland on this, but I couldn't find anything other than a couple of complete uppers. So I went with this instead, but not from here

Happened over time... much time.

I have a KIDD Supergrade rimfire. It converts from one rifle to another and anything in between in minutes. Right now it's between the bench and field versions 'cause I want to test the ULW barrel extensively for precision and that's easier to do with the chassis in target mode with target scope. The extremes are a 12# summer bench rifle and a 6# field rifle. Both versions are very precise and accurate in extensive testing for the bench rifle and initial testing with the ULW barrel. I'm the weak link and that's what I want from all my firearms. First scope for the field rifle was a Nikon. It was parallax adjusted to 100 yards. I didn't know and didn't research it deep enough. It was a rimfire scope and I have my ideas on what a rimfire scope should be. Nikon had different ideas. It was totally useless, but nice glass. The next scope was a Burris adjusted to 50 yards. Better but still not right. The next scope was objective parallax adjustable 6-25x but It's really a target scope. I didn't pay much for it 'cause it was discontinued. I thought it would be junk, but it had good reviews. I paid $63 for it shipped with tax. It's not worth the effort to sell it. It's a Veridian EOS. The quality punches way over it's weight class. I was really surprised at how good the glass was. Based on that and not wanting to spend alot, Ebay to the rescue again, and I found a Veridian 4-16x with side adjusting parallax that goes down to 10 yards with good reviews. YES! I don't need the 16x high end (that I know of but it'll be there if needed) but it's more in line with what I need. It'll do. It too punches way over it's weight class in the cost/quality ratio. I took it from FedExs hands the other day. Since it won't be needed until autumn I have plenty of time to get the mounts figured out. I have rings for it (parts box) but I need to figure out how high to get it (trick neck) and still make it easily convertible. Right now it's in 1" high rings and that's not high enough for my neck.

OK, just pulled the trigger on a new addition for my LR-308. It's an Adaptive Tactical EX AR Rifle Stock. Reviews are positive with mention of slightly heavier, little chunky & cushy. In my unstable mind, that may be a good thing because some of the stocks are the same ones put on a smaller AR15. When I shoulder and look at the one I have, it feels like it needs to be more substantial. A little chunky may be a good thing for me and a slightly heavier would balance the barrel out better. And lastly, who wouldn't like a little cushy on a .308. Probably isn't for everybody but it will hopefully be a plus for me. I'm excited to get it installed and it was relatively inexpensive also.

One is on a 458 really like it. One is on a 12ga. Really like that one too. Brother has one on his 6.5 CM

Steel winch bumper should be here tomorrow.

1.5" spacer lift for the front to level it out is already here along with new shocks for the front.

It's already got 33's on it. so 35's will have to wait a while.

On a side note since the bumper is coming FedEx ground and the moron that does this area can't find my house and always delivers my stuff next door I expect to keep an eye out and catch him and request he deliver to the actual address on the package.
