Sisco Posted February 4, 2014 Report Posted February 4, 2014 What do you like about your AR10 the most? What do you dislike the most? I like it's accuracy. I don't like the weight and length. Wish I had opted for the carbine instead of the full length rifle.
jtallen83 Posted February 4, 2014 Report Posted February 4, 2014 Likes, reliability first. It has never missed a beat. Accuracy is right at the top of the like list as well. Dislikes.... maybe all the proprietary parts, can't really blame ArmaLite but it would be nice to have more of a standard spec like the AR-15

It gets confusing building one, with the three major patterns out there. I feel REALLY bad for all those RRA guys, though... <lmao>
unforgiven Posted February 4, 2014 Report Posted February 4, 2014 ^^^^ :rant2: No worries brother we'll be alright. :hethan:
98Z5V Posted February 4, 2014 Report Posted February 4, 2014 I KNEW it wouldn't take long to be seen, but you were on that one in THREE MINUTES!!! <laughs> <lmao>
unforgiven Posted February 4, 2014 Report Posted February 4, 2014 They say bad news travels fast. <lmao> Surprised brother Ron hasn't jumped in yet.
98Z5V Posted February 4, 2014 Report Posted February 4, 2014 He might be skeered... <dontknow>
planeflyer21 Posted February 4, 2014 Report Posted February 4, 2014 He might be skeered... <dontknow> He's dreading the appearance of the LAR-8 in his "Needs This" thread. :yup:
Rsquared Posted February 5, 2014 Report Posted February 5, 2014 Nope, not skeered. Just not hitting the board much for the last few days. Gearing up for a Looooooong work weekend. And hey, I can't help but to go on and on about such fine equipment as my beloved Armalite produces. I mean, I couldn't go on that long about some RRA stuff. Now maybe some CMMG products. <laughs>.
htbde Posted February 7, 2014 Report Posted February 7, 2014 Likes Shoots out of the box like a seasoned battle rifle ZERO recoil Excellent accuracy Easy to clean Eats any ammo it is fed Better than the M1A Dislikes Ca laws I have no complaints
greenmist Posted February 9, 2014 Report Posted February 9, 2014 Dislikes: Heavy, but that's the nature of these beasites. IIRC, the 20 rd mag when loaded come sin at 5 lbs.. in itself. Likes: most every other aspect of it as already noted. In my backyard, and not across the pond. I think Mr. Stoner would be proud.
htbde Posted February 9, 2014 Report Posted February 9, 2014 Right on Green. definitely not a weapons for a girl or as Arnold says..."I'm not a girley man!"

Robocop1051 Posted February 9, 2014 Report Posted February 9, 2014 Are you aware they make CA compliant models for you poor unfortunate souls. I think that TM or Aero Precision was making a CA legal rifle with all Armalite parts? You basically got an AR-10, but with a different Mfg label on it. I think it said "By Armalite" on it somewhere too.
htbde Posted February 9, 2014 Report Posted February 9, 2014 My comments are from my personal weapon experience.
htbde Posted February 9, 2014 Report Posted February 9, 2014 (edited) The Cali version can't say "AR10". ArmaLite labeled the CA compliant "SPR MOD 2" Edited February 9, 2014 by htbde

Dane Armory Posted February 10, 2014 Report Posted February 10, 2014 Run it WET...Really Wet !... oil splashing in your Face... Running down your arm and Dripping on the floor ! For the first 50 Plus rounds . OH yeah , shoot ,clean the barrel each of the first 10 rounds then clean every 20 rounds for the first 100. This is to seat the bolt and the barrel extension. Also no one wants to rack their gun before they shoot it the very first time.
htbde Posted February 10, 2014 Report Posted February 10, 2014 ^^^^EXACTLY^^^^MOBIL 1 IN A SPRAY BOTTLE
