I've had one for quite a while. Works like a charm.

Hunting flies has never been this much fun and doesn't rupture the fly so no bug guts on the countertop.

Here in Florida we get these big ass wolf spiders in the house. It does a number on them too.

There's a local company in Phoenix vending these - one of the guys at work picked up one this weekend.  I will have one by this Thursday.

I will have a pile of fly carcasses by Thursday evening.   Better hurry, Larry!...

I wonder if they can be upgraded... Better spring. Better Piston/plunger system. Tighter bore on the barrel to increase velocity and range... maybe a choke?

Yeah, it's called a Remington 870.

Go for it.

You think "baiting " is allowed in Texas when fly hunting? :) Wash

Baiting's not the problem in Texas, it's getting those damned tags in their ears that's the bitch.

Welcome to what's likely the only site on the internet where people are talking about modifying the bug-a-salt gun and probably figure out how to make it good for out to 10 yards.

There's GOTS to be a way to choke it, like a shotgun!

MCDonald's drinking straw  - that fat bastard.  Determine your length to determine your yardage.  You can make the thing a sniper rifle.  <thumbsup>

What it does need is grip tape on the cocking piece.

The plastic pump is slippery and it requires a fair amount of pressure to cycle.

Luckily I had some scraps laying around.
