planeflyer21
Wait a minute - is this the Buick engine? My '67 Jeepster Commando had A Buick V-6. A 235. Jeep used FIVE different incarnations of that engine that year. All of them had interchangeable parts. Except for mine. :ugone2far: :fawkdance: Took a proprietary distributor cap, on a proprietary distributor, that none of the other distributors would fit. Only like 430+ rolled off the assembly line with that engine. The dude at Willy's Works in Tucson said "Yeah, you got the crap engine. Most people just re-engine them." Or sell it. It was all kinds of suped up! Done right, the torque on those V-6 engines is immense with the right cam...not a curve but a plateau. You could romp it in any gear in high and it would move NOW. Low was amazing!
