One of the worst written laws ever submitted. California has some of the most illiterate law makers in the history of the world. WTF is "Military Grade Armor"?? Congrats, you just outlawed "flak vests"!?!?

What's to stop people from ordering AR500 targets shaped like BALCS plates??? "Disclaimer: These plates are not intended for personal body armor, even though they are 1:1 scale with our regularly sold plates and will fit and work just fine."

Ps. In CA, it's already a FELONY to wear ANY kind of ballistic armor in the commission of a crime.

that's what I meant. LE has always been aware of the potential of threats wearing armor, but the lib lawmakers never even thought about it until they saw it plastered all over the news. "omg, I didn't know people were allowed to own that! we need a law!"
